Easy Pieces: Schirmer Library of Classics Volume 2037 Piano Solo (Schirmer's Library of Musical Classics, 2037)

I've purchased this collection containing two Kabalevsky's opuses (Op.39 and Op.89) for my kids taking piano lessons. Kabalevsky's easy pieces intended for children are known as excellent scores in terms of pedagogy.These few pages of really simple scores worth in terms of money as 250 pages of Chopin's brilliant waltzes and nocturnos - although it's not big money but it expresses how Kabalevsky is popular in music schools for piano teaching/learning (my kids' teacher also recommends Kabalevsky).Printout is excellent as one expects, and collection has soft paper cover (seems that it's intended to be disposed after several music lessons).

My son's piano teacher recommended this book for his lessons and it was a great choice. It's a very good book for learning, offering a variety of pieces to cover a lot of technic. It's also a very complete edition. We'd recommend this book to children learning to play piano.
