It looked so good at my former apartment that I kept it and still use it at my house! Easy to assemble and would recommend.

Pros:1) The stand in well machined and threads are in great shape and don’t have the off feeling that you get when you put together regular lamps2) It’s pretty sturdy and the base is plenty heavy.3) The click switch is super tactical and click-y.Cons:1) The lamp shade could have been better I think, has a shine to it, which I don’t much appreciate.Verdict: Well built lamp, that could be used as both accent light and/or study light.

This lamp is the last piece of my home office make-over. It's a nice neutral style that goes well with any decor. The way the top is angled and the shade positioned allows for good lighting while reading on the couch & good ambient background light when working at my desk and on a zoom call.A few quibbles: it's shorter than I expected (but I'm getting used to it...it replaced a very tall torch lamp). The packaging was iffy (lots of crumby Styrofoam that gets everywhere) and the whole thing feels cheap as you assemble it.But it looks good in a corner, works well, and I like the floor/foot switch.

Make sure to remove the end caps from the metal sections in order to assemble. My lights were very difficult & needed to be pried off. I was ready to return because I could not get them off but finally managed. Lamp shade was easy to assembly. Watch the video for a quick demonstration. Only downside is that you must get up or out of bed to turn off using the foot control.

That said, the lamp (and shade) were very easy to assemble. Nice height, sturdy. Complements other lamps in my room, but perhaps the shade could be a touch larger -- it seems small perched at the top of a long "stick". I gave 5 stars for brightness, but that really depends on what type of bulb you install.I am pleased with this purchase.

Great lamp for the price but the push button stopped working only 3 months after use. Without the push button I have to move my sofa just to plug it in and out.

I'm moving soon and wanted a very simple, but modern looking lamp for my living room that wouldn't take up too much space. This lamp met the criteria perfectly. It was delivered super fast and arrived the day after I ordered it. It was very easy to assemble. Didn't even need to read the instructions that came along with it. Just be sure to remove the little plastic rings in between the metal rods so you can screw the rods together. My favorite feature is the foot switch - you can press the button with your foot to easily turn the light on and off. Light bulb was not included though. Now I'm debating getting another one for my bedroom as well!

All in all this is a great buy. It arrived quick and the packaging kept all the parts safe in shipping. It took about 10 minutes to assemble and looks exactly like the listing pictures.Couple things to note when considering to buy this lamp...The shade isn't that great. It comes rolled up and you snap it onto the frame. You can see the snaps on the underside (see my picture). But it gets the job done... or is easy enough to replace.It's also not all that sturdy on thicker carpet. I don't think it'll fall over but seems like it wants to lean.

Was easy to assemble - looks just like the photo
