Liked that these were a little longer. Fairly easy to install -- and solid.

I got the two grab bars mounted the day they arrived. My husband likes the fact that they bars are knurled, more slip resistant for him. It took me a little bit to get them mounted - I'm no carpenter, but I managed. They sure help him feel more secure when he gets out of the shower. I used a 2 inch screw into the studs to be sure they were secure and I think you could do chin ups on them. My husband is a big man and he can't budge them.

Easy to install and accurate description.

I have bought the shower bars before in other sizes to install in the actual shower area, and bought these specific bars that are the 24 inch size 4 in the toilet room, but these did not come with the correct screws and anchors to actually attach them to the wall. Very disappointing! I did not open the box and realize this until after I already paid the Handyman to come this day and have to pay him now to come another day again! Very disappointing! as for the product of them self, I do like these bars. The metal is clean and easy to keep clean and the scoring is awesome for traction, especially in wet areas. once installed with the correct parts, including the anchors to the wall, etc., the bars are very sturdy and make you feel very secure! I would give the gran bars themself a 5stars. As for the item purchased for such a high price (at end aug 2023, a pair of 24” bars cost $55!) to have just the bard without sufficient screws and anchors is terrible! as a handicap lady since I need to pay for the handyman to come, and I have to pay for him to return a second time, it makes this even more expensive and kind of ridiculous.I would recommend the bars and then cross your fingers and hope that you get a complete set!Specifically for this item, I like them better than the smooth bars, (too easy to slip in shower while holding) and I definitely like them better than those off-white sort of plastic bars! (They yellow overtime, and just look super dreary and unclean!SUMMARY:For someone who needs the help of grab bars, this extra security really brings you relief!— Even being a little more expensive than some of the other choices, It is worth it for the security and peace of mind the sturdy support these grab bars offer.

Used in our RV This is perfect for the inside steps in our RV. It is easy to grab & hang on to since it is not slippery. Such a good help while going up the stairs.

The handles are solid and heavier than I thought they would be. The pattern on the bars makes the bars easy to grip. My only complaint is the size and length of the screws. I tend to over engineer my projects and the screws that came in the package seemed too small to satisfy my needs. By the time they pass through the mounting plate and the drywall, there were very few threads that would actually grip the stud. I used screws that were 1/2 longer and slightly bigger around. Rock solid after mounting!! The person using the grips is 275lbs and I didn't want there to be any doubt that the bars wouldn't hold that wait.

The screws an anchors were way to light to be safe. I installed heavier anchors and screws. know I feel they will serve the purpose. I not sure why I bother doing the review I feel if I am truthful than you ignore my review. Also the caps that cover the screws wouldn't stay in place until I used silicone.

I needed a grab bar that was not too large in diameter. The ones that I could source locally were too big for my hands.The grab bar is 1 inch in diameter and just the right size. Two came in the package, so one is mounted in the shower and my husband mounted the second grab bar so I can hoist myself off the toilet if needed.I am very happy with this product.

My first issue is with the thickness of the steel. It certainly feels on the thinner side and with the diameter of the rail considered as well, I wonder how strong the rails may be. However, the main problem I have identified is the size of the supplied screws. In my situation the screws have to go through tiles and then into brick. As the screws are only 30mm in length, I am not confident they will hold the rail securely. I intend using 65mm stainless steel screws and heavier duty rawl plugs instead of the supplied ones.

You get what you pay for, I guess. These are chromed (not polished) handles. The chrome is very poorly applied. Multiple areas have the chrome chipping off. The material itself is very thin - Like a tin can in some places. I would never buy these again. Pay a little more and get a better quality product. DO NOT BUY THESE IF THEY ARE FOR CRITICAL USE, ie in a shower. The welds holding the flanges that connect the screws are very poor and flimsy.
