The Best of Archie Comics 4

As good as Archie comics can be, but l wish the font size was a little bigger. However, that is a miniscule issue. Great book to own, takes one down the memory lane.

Can't say that these are the best Archie stories. Just read them to pass time. I've probably outgrown them

New condition. Worth to be purchased by Archie fans.

Good service and good product

This is a very good cross-section of Archie stories, from the early forties right up to the present. I enjoy looking at the different eras (my personal favorites are the Frank Doyle/Dan DeCarlo stories from the late fifties-early sixties). Included in this collection are two of my all-time favorites: "Mr. Inferno", in which Betty literally sells her soul to the devil for a shot at Archie, and "For One Brief Moment", in which a near-death experience leads to Betty and Reggie dating exclusively, and Archie and Veronica are actually NOT happy about it. It was the story that made me begin to think that my childhood belief that Archie would one day choose Betty was NOT what I wanted to see happen (this is confirmed in the "Life With Archie" series, but that's another story.....).One thing I'd like to point out: I've collected several of these Archie anthologies over the last few years, many in hardcover. I knew this was a paperback, but didn't realize it was in the smaller "digest" size, like the "Archie's" you see in the grocery store checkout line. It's still a full book, clocking in at over 400 pages. Just be aware that it has the smaller (7"x5") dimensions.

Used as a Angel tree gift. I think the young man will like it as he asked for Archie comic books.

So much fun to read.
