Go with a different still for your first
This works, but not good at all. Get something else. I’m guessing this would be your first still because it’s cheaper, but trust me you’re better off getting one that costs a little more.

Works great! Had to buy different pump.
Picked up a 120v but everything else works as expected. Description is accurate but if you're in the states the pump won't work very well on normal voltage.

A good cheap beginner for a handyman.
Let me begin by saying this product is cheap and it does work.The distiller I received had some assembly issues for sure.The two barbed fittings were reversed. So the water inlet was to small for the water pump tube (leaks) and the thermometer fitting was too big. Trip to AutoZone for rubber caps fixed that.The white fitting for the pump was not in the package. Quick trip to Lowes fixed that.The water pump impellor rod is too tight and has to be disassembled to get to function.One of the support leg nuts was threaded incorrectly.So all and all a very cheap product.

Don’t buy!!!!!!!!
Pump doesn’t work. fittings for rubber hose to pump wrong threading to pump. Damaged lid. Seems like a steamer pot modified and not well. Waste of time and money.

Pump did NOT work
Overall the product is well made. But the pump that came with it didn't work. And maneuvering the flex pipe was a little tough. The instructions are minimal.
