It was smaller then I pictured.And it broke very easily. Sad face

I didn't expect that this is small size l. I thought I can make a regular (siopao) bun.

Good stuff

I was looking forward to this product. I like steamed buns and was planning on it this weekend. When it arrived, I was disappointed to say the least. The picture in the ad is misleading. It makes the buns look bigger than they are. I put a quarter, yukon gold potato, the bun maker, and an apple side by side for comparison. The potato fit in the bun maker with room to spare. Fitting 4 buns on a plate? Yes right. Not a plate, probably a saucer.That's not to say it wouldn't be perfect for dumplings. I just expected to be eating steamed buns, not dumplings. The $15 prove tag for this product definitely is too much for this plastic contraception that says it makes buns but really is only good for dumplings. Would not buy again.

Buena idea

It looked like a good concept to speed up the tedious process of closing dumpling. However, it doesn't work at all it, it doesn't even manage to close the dumpling let alone making those beautiful design. Don't be fooled by those video that you see in YouTube, Facebook or any other place, those video are heavily and poorly cut to make seems like this work, which they don't ! They might do it for two reason either they are this company trying to sells this useless product, or some greedy/money hunger people to make money thru the amazon affiliation link.

Do not buy, I tried making dumplings with this and the plastic push part didn’t close the dumpling dough and after one dumpling it got stuck in the up position, returning.

I've tried it several times and it never works as shown. Threw it away.
