Wizards Tarot Deck Cards – April 8, 2014

I love the deck but i want to WARN THE BUYER .......THIS DECK .....IS THE SMALL VERSION you get the 80 page book not the 200 + page book this deck is smaller then the deck i was hoping to get.......i thought i was buying the deck with the big book.........nope i screwed up.....I still LOVE THE DECK and im glad its smaller......It made me furious though that i made that mistake....On the upside i found on their website wizardtarot.com that you get a free study guide with all the extra info i was wanting to begin with......If your not into magickal practice i don't recommend this deck......its an eclectic deck which i love....The art is fantastic! The art alone sold me on the deck......If you study Astrology, Numerology, Cabala, Wicca, or follow a magickal practice I would certainty recommend this deck

This is a very good deck for a beginner, especially someone in their teens, as well as adults who like clear images. Rather Harry Potter-ish. However, the meanings of the pips are well-illuminated so it's easy to read. Standard size deck, today's standard thin card stock, border is a little busy but I bought it for reading online where I shuffle more than usual and trimmed it down for that purpose, making it smaller than a normal deck and easy to handle for heavy shuffling. Shuffles easily as a full-size deck as well. The suits line up with my associations for element and season: Swords/Air/Spring, Wands/Fire/Summer, Cups/Water/Fall, Pentacles/Earth/Winter so it's an easy deck for me to use to do timing.

This is a beautiful deck. It is a wonderful addition to my other decks. I am not sure why other reviewers are complaining about the card stock it is printed on. It is printed on standard card stock with a matte finish. If the company that prints this deck used a gloss finish, it would distract from the artwork. The matt finish was a good choice. As for the size of the deck: This deck is longer than a standard Bicycle Rider playing deck. The printing choice allows readers to have an affordable version of this very old deck. I would recommend this deck.

First and foremost, the imagery is amazing. Definitely have a Harry potter type of vibe. The mini book included is very descriptive and informative. I have two complaints though. One, the cardstock is absolutely horrible. I'm talking less quality than that of a regular deck of playing cards. Two, the box is flimsy as well. You cannot use it. It flaps open and cards fall everywhere.

I had this deck previously. The art is nice though some of the photo-manipulation is evident on certain cards. This particular set, which came with the pamphlet but not the full books, is considerably smaller than the other set which I had before. These are barely bigger than a deck of cards. However, the card-stock they are on seems like it will hold up to many years of use. This is by far one of my favorite tarot decks I've had. I would suggest getting the bigger set with the book if given the choice.

The art on these cards is really lovely, and the concept is really cool. My only complaint is the companion handbook was not printed correctly - the pages are all mixed up so it's really hard to find the card you're looking for.

Just need to get more acquainted with this deck. More a user of the Golden Dawn/ BOTA cards.

The deck is gorgeous and easily read BUT the little guide that's enclosed doesn't have divinatory or reversed meanings so you have to know your cards. There are a few new Major Arcanas that have no meanings so you have to figure it our yourselves. That being said, I found it almost perfect to decifer a Celtic Cross easily enough and the cards spoke to me immediately.

Stunningly beautiful cards but unfortunately not on good cardstock. The symbolisms would be so lovely if a little larger and classier. I have other decks that have withstood just about everything - this deck will not be as durable. Such as shame!

The deck is really interesting easy to use and easy to read.I am pleased with my purchase and look forward to purchasing many many more :-)

Wunderschönes Tarotkartendeck,ein muß für jeden Esoterikfan !!! Nur leider gibt es keine deutsche Übersetzung,kann man sich aber am klassischen Tarot ableiten.

This is a beautiful deck. Only a few cards change it's title (major arcana) but its very easy to know which ones r. I would totally recommend this deck. It's beautiful.
