It’s a snuggle toy plus easy to operate night light. Have purchased one for each of my grandchildren, boys and girls. Usable for years, just have batteries on hand when it arrives. Batteries last a long timeIn these, too.

The light is bright but not so much that it's distracting or interrupting the sleep process for a little one. To that point, the light seems to lull them to sleep.

This is absolutely worth the price if you're looking for a soft night light for your child. My daughter is three and has had this for two months. It takes 3 AAA batteries, and as others said, they run down quickly (we get roughly a week out of them being used at bedtime and one nap each day). However, we invested in rechargeable ones from day 1, which allows us to save money on batteries and always have some ready to go once he gets too dim to be of use. I'd definitely say that's a necessity if you're going to buy this, or else you need to take out a second mortgage to afford the batteries needed.The bottom of the unit has a switch that allows you to either have it constantly on or time out after a set time - ten minutes, I want to say. Make sure you have this switched appropriately. I told my daughter that he has to keep his bandage on to protect his belly and make sure he always has light for her. The batteries are behind a small door that screws shut.My one surprise is the size of this. If you're familiar with Pillow Pets, this is about half the size. I didn't like that at first, but then I realized that it's actually a very manageable size for a toddler bed and isn't too overwhelming. It also makes it easier to pack in an overnight bag for the grandparents!This isn't going to be a soft pillow for your child as the area where the lights shine out and the battery case are hard plastic. If you're buying it for that reason, you'll want to pass. If you're looking for a plush night light from a reputable company, this is a great bet! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

Our son is obsessed with his puppy pillow pet. He loves clicking it on at bedtime and seeing the stars change colors on the ceiling. Great little stuffy and is very easy for kids to use! No rips or tears yet, and the plastic has withstood a decent bit of wear and tear already- with no marks or breaks.

Very cute and works great with fresh batteries. But, the batteries don’t last long at all.. we have to change them about once a week and that’s using it with the 20 minute timer.

I’ve bought 2 of these. Both my kids love having this to cuddle with and helps them feel comfortable in the dark.The battery life is good and there is a timer setting so the lights turn off automatically after 20 minutes

If you have a little one these are great! Our little toddler (15 months when we bought it) loves using this as a night light and takes it everywhere we go. It has a built in timer so it will shut off on its own, and when she wakes up, she can push the button to turn it back on. Not to bright but bright enough to provide comfort in a dark room when needed.
