I don't know why these lights are getting so much hate. I got these same lights at Costco last year and I was hoping to buy more this year, but Costco stopped selling them! I can't seem to find them anywhere but here. The review stars don't look too good, but since I already know the product, I bit the bullet.So the "flickering issue" - I'm gonna be honest, I don't see it. Call me blind, but it just looks like it's glowing to me and that's it. When the lights are all bundled up, I can see a bit of an unpleasant flickering, but when it's all spread out on the tree, there's no problem.The colors of the lights - I LOVE THE BLUE AND PURPLE! I think it's so unique to add to the green, red, and yellow.The price of these lights are honestly a steal right now because I can't find a 100 light count string that's ALSO automatic. Most lights that can switch from warm white to colors has a manual switch, which isn't what I want.My seller was GreatDealsSWF.

I have read some reviews where this light set failed when used outdoors. I only used it inside, on my Christmas tree, and had absolutely no issues, and I love the color of it. The warm white is truly like an incandescent bulb. I have always had to decide every year whether to go with the traditional-looking white or festive colors when I light my tree; now I can change that decision at any time with the turn of a switch. But this year I left it cycling between the two modes because it was mesmerizing to watch. Note that while the LED lights stay cool, there are several junctions between sections, and these get very warm to the touch. But it's nowhere near as hot as an incandescent bulb.

I was very excited to find Christmas lights that change colors from white to multi-color since my boyfriend and I have different tastes. As the description notes, these lights can be simply white, multi-color, or switch between white/multi-color.The white lights are a combo of warm white and LED bright white which I think looks nice. The multi-color has red, yellow, green and blue in them. As a few other reviewers have noted, because these are LED you can notice a slight constant flicker when the lights are on. This doesn't really bother me but may for some people.The downside, as others have noted, is that while these strings will connect to each other, they do not have the right plug to connect a topper that may light up. I'm bummed about this but will get over having a green extension cord to turn my topper on.The reason this got 4 stars from me is that I ordered two packages. When delivered, a label was simply slapped on the original packaging instead of being put in a box. One strand also came with one light burnt out and two other light bulbs missing. When we went to put in a replacement, half of one strand went out. The fuse was fine. However, returning and replacing was easy at no additional cost to me. Fingers crossed for the new box!

Ordered four boxes of lights and all of them came in perfect condition. The strands were all fresh and lit up immediately. I love this particular style of lights because they seem to last well year to year, don't have much heat, and have a unique, threaded connecter that holds them together without concern about them falling apart in bad weather or heavy snow.

These lights were excellent. So much better than expected. We saw them at a major store, on a tree. You could buy the tree with them on, but could not get the lights separately. We were happy to find them at Amazon and ordered immediately. The changing of the lights from clear to multi colored is smooth and it adds so much to the tree. I would highly recommend them!

I was one Christmas string of lights short this year; I ordered a box of what *seemed* to be the exact same lights I'd purchased from Amazon last year. Well, yes, the lights are exactly the same, but I couldn't plug this new string into the ones I had - completely different coupler. I do like them, but I'm lucky I had a multi-outlet extension cord so they work. Very frustrating, thus the three stars, otherwise they're definitely worth five.
