Bertucci A-2S Field Watch

My Bertucci A-2S Field 22mm Quartz in stainless steel feels lighter than almost any other stainless watch I have ever had. My first watch was a Timex with sweep second hand. Stainless steel with a Twistoflex band. Look it up, it was a pretty big deal at the time. The only watch that didn't corrode after 1 summer in the desert Southwest.The A-25s is shaped bigger, and has a bigger face size but still feels light.The numbers are easy to read at any angle with or without eyeglasses.The lume is bright enough for my needs but others will probably like bigger indicators.This is my first screw down crown and it is great. I like the position at 4 o'clock.Some reviews mention the second hand alignment. I have no problem with the slight misalignment as this is common with a lot of analog watches in this price range nowadays. If when you are setting the minute hand you go past the intended setting clockwise about 5 minutes and then back counterclockwise to the setting you can usually take up most of the slack and improve the alignment. Its an analog watch thing that most have forgotten now.The Zulu style band that came with the watch is great. Very well constructed. However, my preference is for a more traditional style so I changed to the G-style comfort band. Same deal, excellent construction and comfort.So, I really like the watch, band, and price range.

Nice look, good details, only the strap is a bit hard to wear, but I think wearing for a while will be better.

As a tech-averse senior citizen this watch suits me pretty well. It's simple to operate and generally easy to read. I like that it has no day-date feature as I never bother keeping up with adjusting those settings. The hands are easy to see and the numbers 1-12 can be read at a glance without my reading glasses. 13-24 require a little squinting though. I'm quite surprised at how comfortable the nylon band is. The stitching looks very secure and all the fabric ends and size adjusting holes have been neatly singed, leaving no annoying sharp edges. I'm glad I ordered the A-2 model instead of the A-1 because this size seems to be well-proportioned for a man's wrist. Any complaints I have about this watch are small. I must alert buyers that the case-band thickness is a little greater than average, and the band is just long enough for my average size wrist. I withheld the fifth star because nothing is perfect and because I've only been wearing this watch for a short time. So far, this seems like a very solid product.

Well 1st the lume, swiss lume is not all that I wear watches at night and the lume is good for when you get up @2am for the bathroom visit and your eyes are already adjusted, but not better than seiko lume but over all ok. I wear automatics but this watch I got to change up with my casio I use for work, bertucci makes a solid watch heavy sturdy screw down crown and comfortable I switched out the provided strap and use my own natos that I had I must say it's a sweet watch easy read. Not a fan of the the built in spring bars but not a deal breaker for me. I recommend this watch it's a solid beater and built very well

I just changed my rating for this watch from five stars to two. I've had it for only 18 months, and it just died on me. I had to replace the battery at less than a year (not great), and I just had the motor replaced - it still doesn't work!!My Bertucci A2-S looked great, felt great, and was great. But, even though it was less than $100, I really expected it would be more durable and last longer. I cannot stress my disappointment enough.Original post follows:I love this watch. LOVE IT!!! It looks awesome, is very comfortable, and is utterly durable. I've had it almost a year now, and it maybe has lost a total of four minutes here and there - after daily wear at home and at work; during drill weekends handling air cargo with the Air Force Reserve; through rugged travels in Bolivia, South America; and recently during muddy, rain-soaked relief work in post-Maria Puerto Rico! This watch has been reliable the whole time, and I expect it will continue to always be so. For less than $100, I feel I have gotten the bargain of a lifetime!

Loved it’s appearance

I'm a woman and I love this watch. I'm used to so called indiglo type light features but I've found this is actually really easy to see in darkened areas without back light. It feels substantial and made of quality material on the wrist without being clunky or uncomfortable. I've worn it daily since my purchase and couldn't be happier with it.

I bought the watch a little over a year ago, and was very satisfied. the watch was comfortable, looked nice and worked great. almost a year afterwards, the second hand fell off and started moving freely under the dome. a few days later the watch stopped working completely.Also: The company was helpful with registering the watch and warranty, but I sent it in to be fixed and haven't heard from them ( though that could be the mail's fault).

Very clean looking watch. Quite large and easy to read. None of those annoying date complications that mean you have to reset things 6 times a year. I am impressed by the quality including that of the nylon strap. The glass is slightly recessed which will mean less scratching. Arrived in the UK within the advertised timescale with no worries about customs. Having set the watch to the second against the internet, which was easy thanks to the hacking movement, it is still accurate to that second after a week.

My son is very pleased with his new watch. It glows in the dark really well.
