I would wave off on this light if you a 1st responded LEO, Military or your life depends on see the bad things that come out of the darkness. The manufacturer is unresponsive to feedback about the requirement of designing a tool for professional use.

As usual olight knocks another one out of the park ! This light is amazing totally blew me away ! I paid much more for a competitors product that didn’t provide half of the features never mine the durability the olight Odin provides ! So I carried this light around for a week using it at work which amounts to roughly 3 hours per day bouncing between medium and the highest settings and let me tell you this thing is bright ! When your underground in a tunnel system the light you are relying on has to be durable , bright and above all else has to maintain battery life which the olight Odin checks all of those boxes never mind I dropped it into a 1ft deep puddle of water where it remained for atleast 5 minutes till I could safely get to it and it had zero negative affect on it ! Now after the first week I mounted it to my 308 and beat the living snot out of it by way of 400 plus rounds and the light is still working perfectly ! This is a great light at a great price ! If your hard on your gear and need something that you can bet your life on this is it !

After ordering the cheap chinesium light and having it fail I bit the bullet and got a real light. 200 rds in and this this is solid. For the average owner this is all you will ever need. Couldn't be more satisfied at this point. Highly recommend. Who know a flashlight could be so cool.

This light is built very well. You can feel the durability. I have to say, it feels much stronger than the Fenix, but after witnessing the brightness of the Fenix, this light doesn’t seem nearly as bright. But... if your mounting this to a rifle, u cant go wrong.Pros- Very well engineered with durability, second to none.- Steady light output- Versatility is excellent, can be used in several applications.- Can attach pressure switch- Common battery compartment- Push button powerCons- Uncommon charging ability while battery is installed ... unable to use any charger but the one that came with it ... so don't lose it or break it.- Unable to change beam projection- Battery charge not all that impressive- Not expandable... as of now ... but possible should the manufacturer build battery compartment extensions.- No strobe effect

I love this light!! I live in a 2nd floor apt just off a 6 lane highway with more than enough street lights. After I finally got it charged, I went out to the breezeway at night with the street lights on to see what it could do. I was lighting up trees on the other side of the highway that were directly under the street lights! Had to be at least a 100 yard distance. Not a faint hint of the added light but full on lighting them up. And the mounting system is perfect for my rifle. Absolutely love it! So why only 4 stars?Charging! It comes with a usb charging cable but no wall adapter for the charger. So I grabbed an adapter and plugged it in. 12 hours later? Still not fully charged. 18 hours later? Nope. I had read in the instructions about the wall adapter you would want but didn't really think much of it because electricity is electricity. NEWSFLASH: It isn't. This requires a 5w wall adapter. When I realized the cause I grabbed a wall adapter for another magnetically charged handgun light and it finished charging in about 20 minutes. So why knock off 1 star for something I should have known by reading the manual?Because I went on to Amazon and bought one exactly to the specs required and it cost me $8. Something that, to a manufacturer, would have cost well under $5. So....why not include one in the kit? Its already an absurd price for a light(but worth it!) so why not include the proper wall adapter?And to the seller that includes a free battery case? Nice touch but mine was crammed in to the shipping box and so warped by the time I got it that it wouldn't close and was useless. Went straight in to the trash.Overall? BUY THIS LIGHT! Its amazing and the picatinny holder for the pressure pad is perfect! I hadn't even considered lights w/ pressure pads before because I don't want adhesive and zip ties on my rifle. This completely solves that and pressure pad is completely secure.

Brightness is amazing and exactly what I want in a mounted light for home defense applications. The mounted remote switch will sometimes surprise me with an accidental engagement but you don't have to use the remote switch if it is a problem for your application. Battery life meets my needs for home defense. Mounting the switch to the rail wasn't easy and it seems to have a tendency to let go of the rail at the corners. I'm hoping that will settle out over time but I haven't owned it long enough to know yet. Mounting the light to rail is simple and secure. Overall, I am impressed. I've purchased two of these and would buy more if ever needed. I highly recommend it.

Wowww, what an incredible light! First thing I noticed about it was the impressive way it way boxed. Great packaging and presentation. And it just kept getting better. From the second you hold this sabre you will be impressed. Everything about it is awesome. And then when you turn it on..... Wowww is this thing BRIGHT! The most professional, precise, well made, amazingly thought out light I've ever had, and I'm a flashlight NUT. EVERYdetail is extraordinary. I'd give it ten stars if I could!
