Super Fun twist on traditional Monopoly
Just received this today and our 7 year old son could not wait to play! He loves ocean creatures! The graphics are cute and the game plays the same as traditional monopoly so easy to jump right in. Our kids are 7, 13, and 20 and we all had a great time playing this together. Would definitely recommend it if you like monopoly and want a new twist on it! Bonus: the back of the cards have fun facts on them! This was a great purchase for the money. Canary exactly as pictured. Would recommend!

Love it! Cute! Educational! Highly recommend!
This is a cute game! Very educational too for both adults and children. Easy to set up and play. Almost identical in rules and ease as regular monopoly. So glad we purchased it. We also bought Sharkopoly and recommend them both. Our game tokens were metal for both games.

Colorful and fun. Not as tedious as monopoly
The colorful board is absolutely delightful. Frankly, the regular old monopoly game is boring. Sailing the seas, owning fish and oceans is awesome. I never enjoyed monopoly much but this I totally enjoy. I used the 12-insert card plastic pages and handed them out with the people's money allotment and kept one for the bank and it made keeping track very easy. The 'properties' also fit in those sleeves as well.

Refreshing Take on a Classic Game
I've never been a fan of the original Monopoly game! But we got this for our ocean-loving 9-year old daughter and we all had a great time playing together. You're still using math skills to count money, taking risks to make purchases/monopolies, and staying alert for other players landing on your property. But the ocean setting really changes up the overall feel while you play, and just puts your mind in a different place that I think is a lot more fun - most importantly for kids. No matter where I am, I'd always rather be at the beach - Oceanopoly brings you a step closer to being there!

Fun and Educational for the Whole Family
My boys and I enjoy playing this game together. It's great because it ties into their love of ocean creatures, but it also helps with skills like math (because of the money counting bit). So it's challenging and a great way to get together and have fun as a family.

Pretty Good variation on Monopoly.
My family and I love Monopoly and own quite a few different versions and "themed" monopoly sets.In this set chance and community chest spaces are replaced with "Go Fish" and "Treasure Chest" - one thing that most of the family didn't like is in this game "Go Fish" is always bad, and "Treasure Chest" is always good. To us, this takes some surprise out of the game. Each of the "properties" is a type of sea creature. It would be helpful (and just nice) if the property cards had pictures matching the board.Lastly, the "water" blocks are incredibly basic. I think if they had been more translucent or wavy that they could have looked more like water. Or it would have been cool if the water pieces stacked on top of each other or connected. (We have a Pokemon set where the pieces stack together and it just makes playing better as they don't get knocked around as easily).Overall, this is a great edition for the sea lovers out there! I would definitely recommend.I did get the edition with the shark on the front and the more colorful, interesting board.

A new spin on monopoly especially if you like the ocean!
Absolutely incredible! I got this for my 8 year old son and we had a blast playing this game. I was going to get monopoly junior and I'm so happy I purchased this item instead! He never got bored and one game lasted almost 2 hours!
