Accord Armrest Replacement,Vinyl Front Door Panels Armrest Lid Pad for 2008-2012 Honda Accord Sedan (Gray)

I have a 2011 Accord. My driver side arm rest had a tear due to age and use. Found this replacements on Amazon and decided to give them a try. Installing them is a bit of challenge due to all the disassembly needed to get to the actual arm rest. However, with a bit of patience and time, anyone can do it. replacing the actual armrest is very easy. These are a perfect fit. Color is 99% match to original. There is usually no way to get exact match to any leather anyways. I'm super happy with the result.

Easier than have to refurbished it

My 2012 Honda Accord has been a well built car thus far, but for the glue under the arm rests, The one on the driver side front door stared deteriorating a couple of years ago, with some wrinkles in the vinyl cover at first, and eventually tears in it. I lived with it like that for a bit, with scotch tape providing a functional but ugly patch. I finally decided to see how to actually go about replacing the part, and the YouTube videos made the job look manageable. I ordered this pair of them, which came with the vinyl cover pre-glued to the plastic frame underneath. It took about 30 minutes total to do the job, which involved disconnecting the top tweeter speaker from the door, removing a couple of plastic covers (the bottom one was the hardest part of the whole task), removing three screws, popping off the door cover, then removing five screws and popping off a couple of tabs to get the old armrest off, and then reversing the process to get the door cover put back together and the top speaker connected back up. I never checked with a body shop how much they would have charged, but I am sure it would have been a couple of hundred at least. It looks like my front passenger side arm rest is starting to wrinkle up too, and the second part of the replacement pair may be needed too. I feel good about being prepared.

The fit's not quite perfect.The upholstery material is better than original: thicker, textured similar to the center console, color not quite original but pleasantly complementary.The frame onto which the material is fastened is either very used or poorly cast. Mounting points are rather sloppily done compared to OEM Honda parts but they are adequate. On one of the armrests one screw point was either broken or badly cast so a screw had nowhere to go. Not a showstopper but exhibits poor aftermarket casting technique and/or quality control.The material itself is pretty well fastened down and conforms acceptably to the required contours.The overall look certainly beats the appallingly prematurely worn out original armrests.Conclusion: I'm satisfied enough to keep these replacement armrests and would say if you want 'em, roll the dice. I did and I'm happy enough with the results.

Looks great and you would never know it's not the original. We put it in my son's 2008 Honda Accord, perfect!

Sisnt expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. Not as soft as OEM, but fits the bill and looks good. The installation was easy and took less than a half hour to do both. Watch a You Tube video on how to remove door pane, but dont completely remove panel from ddor. Just pull it out from the door and remove the five screws with a stubby phillips.

Color was close. And fittement was close. Tge front towards tge steering wheel was up. Hope heat will bring in down. But a fyi. Not exact

Bought for 08 Accord sedan. Entire door panel will need to be removed to install this part. My doors are now looking new again with no torn leather!
