Good stuffs..
Had this for half year mainly for warming milk it’s awesome that I can tell what water temperatures are if I let it set for 30mins later also if ac running and don’t know if the ac is pushing rite temperature can see what is the air coming out is. It’s very very useful stuffs and no battery needed.

Accurate H²O Boiling. Can Be Recalibrated. Check Deep Fry Oil Temp. Clip IQ: How To Attach 101....
I purchased the set of two. Both measured accurately the temperature of BOILING water. Both needles hovered over the 100 centigrade (212 fahrenheit) hash mark.Should the needle come to rest at the wrong temperature in the above test, recalibrate the gauge. Let's say that the needle hovers at 190° F instead of 212°F... With the probe still immersed in boiling water, adjust the dial. Grab the head firmly, then rotate counterclockwise the 10 mm nut at the back until the dial is over 212°. (It's clockwise if you're facing the front.)Does that translate to the temperature being accurate at 300°, 325°, 350°, 375°, 400°...? I don't know. At least, I have a good starting point, a good baseline. With a 2" dial, it's a bit difficult to ascertain quickly which hash mark---temperature---the needle is on.I got this primarily to measure oil temperature for deep frying. I mostly fry at 350° F to 375° F.With the thermometer at 350° F, the foods (uncoated or battered) fry like I expect them to, and the oil boils and bubbles like it should, so I know the actual temperature is at or near 350° F.(Guess I should compare temperature readings on this to what a digital thermometer shows. I'll post an update when I do.)How to attach the clip isn't exactly an IQ Test, but it's not obvious either that you can position it two ways to get different results on how the thermometer rests.- If you want the thermometer to be more upright with the tip close to the side on the pan, use the clip this way. See picture 1.- If you want the thermometer to be more at an angle with the tip toward the center of the pan, do this. See picture 2.(When I say picture 1 and picture 2, I'm assuming that they're displaying in the order they were uploaded.)Use care when you attach the clip. You don't want to scratch your nonstick coating on the pan. It's important to note that the tip can be suspended in the air (or oil) and have the thermometer "standing," but it will be tipsy. If you do rest the tip on the pan, it acts like a kickstand and makes it STABLER.Whichever way you employ of attaching to the pan, the greater the length of the probe above the clip, the more tip-prone it is. Since the clip doesn't exactly grip tightly and securely on the pan, be careful...BE VERY, VERY CAREFUL.CAUTION. CAUTION. CAUTION. If the clipped thermometer starts to move, don't reflexively try to save it from tipping over. LET IT TIP! Last thing you want is to get in a "tip drill" in an effort to save it from falling. You could splatter HOT OIL or, worse, knock over the pan filled with HOT OIL and do serious damage to yourself and/or your furry companion(s). (I'm talking about your four-legged companions. Not your hairy husband/partner/boyfriend. And definitely not your hairy wife/partner/girlfriend!)

They work well
I use these for a deep fryer. They are a little tall for it, but work really well.

Not what I expected, probably a good product
I ordered this for a deep fry thermometer and it's too long for my pot, definitely more for a turkey fryer. The product itself seems fairly good, just not what I expected, guess I should have read the dimensions!!
