Our shower sealing strips after fourteen years of use had discoloured and needed replacing. The required fin length was 10mm, so it was a case of choosing either the 8mm or 12mm fin as a replacement. I opted for the 12mm fin to fit the 6mm glass panel. The strips require a certain amount of pressure to engage them, but once done are an excellent tight fit. Cutting was easy with a junior hack saw followed by a fine tooth file and Stanley knife for the softer fins. The 12mm fin is not ideal as the shower door "scrapes" against the fixed glass part when fully opened, but at least it doesn't slide open on its own now! I couldn't find an alternative product on the market that was of this quality, which from a supply and demand point of view explains the high cost. I would have expected these to sell for around £25 a pair, not £35. However, they arrived within 24 hours in a very strong 2.1m long cardboard tube and they look great.

Seals were easy to fit and keep shower water where it should be

I think I got a size too small really, so I had to really push it on, but I think that's good, as it isn't going to come off easily when opening and shutting the door of my shower. I needed 3 strips, so it was a bit of a pain having to buy 4 (only sold in pairs) - would be nice to be able to buy it singly, especially as, at around £35 a pair, they aren't cheap. Other than that, it's all good! Fairly easy to cut (I used a little saw) and, apart from having to shove it on hard because I bought a bit too small width, easy to fit - I did it on my own and I'm a 70 years old lady, so, if I can do it, anyone can! Very happy to recommend.

Used these seals as a replacements for Roman originals which were twice the price..The quality was equal to the originals and they were sent in strong cardboard packaging very quickly.

Bought these to replace seals that were and little worse for wear and totally did the trick. Great quality, packed well and easy to install. :)

The actual product sold by this company is excellent but in our case we needed to retun the seals (those we ordered only came in pairs). It turns out that many couriers won't accept anything that's over 1.6 metres in length. The seals came in a cardboard tube measuring 5.5cm diameter and 202cm in length, weighing just 1.4Kg. It seems only some couriers will take items over a certain length but will make a surcharge for doing so. We were told around £20.00+ all in to return. The seals cost us around £28.00 so the returns postage was prohibitive and not covered by the company. Instead we were offered £8.99 as a partial refund along with the suggestion we could either just keep the seals or dispose of them. Even reselling them on say an auction website would be difficult due to the postal/courier costs involved. So sadly we are now almost £20.00 out of pocket. It is the way of the world but just a polite note to say if you have to return seals over a certain length, make sure you know what to expect, it has been a lesson learnt the hard way. We're giving 3 stars not because of poor quality of the product but because of the experience we've had.
