Gates is a great unique Kansas City style sauce. Tomato based. Not too thick. Sweet and savory mix. Personally I love the unique celery seed seasoning and sweetness with mild spice in the sweet n mild. So happy to get ahold of home far from home! The best. Shipment was perfect.

Great products! Only comment is that the sauce containers were packaged with other items and the seal was loose enough on one container that it slightly leaked or seeped on one of the other products. No permanent harm was done though. This was definitely a fulfillment center packaging issue as the bottles were loose inside the box.

Gates bbq sauce is great when brushed over any meat 🍖 directly over the grill. It will take your bbq to the next level.

Received item wrapped in Saran Wrap with outside hand-made label marked “sweet and mild”, which is what I ordered, but both bottles REAL labels said hot”. If that weren’t bad enough, One was clearly opened/used, and because lid had come loose, sauce had spilled down between the bottle and the Saran Wrap. Had to toss for obvious safety reasons. Requested and received a refund. Sticking to the Gates website from now on.

Went to Kansas City and visited the restaurant! Love the sauce ! Happy I can get it on Amazon
