We've got a collection of these in a variety of ages/ grades. When you haven't been in school a while its funny what you forgot. Also great conversation starters we use them frequently on road trips

...but my incoming 5th grader and I have been learning a lot from these decks. I remember having Brain Quest as a kid and I'm so glad it's still around because over this summer my daughter and I have been working through these decks and I'm sure she will ease right on into 5th grade with no problem. However, I'm truly not smarter than a 5th grader lolI also believe there were some errors in some of the answer keys but again, I'm not smarter than a 5th grader so I could be wrong. Bought for my children to add some learning fun to our homeschool day. They love it! We play on road trips in restaurants while we are waiting. It’s fun and exciting!

A winner! Purchased this as a complement to the Brain Quest 5th grade workbooks for my twin grand-daughters who haven't seen the inside of a classroom since March and have had only 2 hours of on-line instruction per day, 2 days a week, for the rest of 2019-2020 school year. Now that their teachers are on strike we've had to find our own resources to stimulate and provide continuity to their learning. And wow! Brain Quest does just that. They received their workbooks 10/16 and Q&A cards 10/24 and absolutely love these. Brain Quest is challenging while not frustrating, encourages their cognitive skills 100%, and is an excellent educational resource. My grand-daughters enjoy these Brain Quest Q&A cards and workbooks so much that they have to be persuaded to set these aside. It's the first thing they want to do in the morning and the last thing they do before bedtime. At the rate they're going not sure how long these are going to last but purchase has been worth every penny. They give these 4 thumbs up - and if you have a 10 year old (or 2) in your household you can't ask for a better recommendation than that!

I just started working with kids and I grew up using these cards so it was so much fun to see the kids I work with also enjoying them.

PROS Engages my 10 year old grandson and his parents. As soon as he finished the 4th grade level he asked for the 5th grade set. He likes to challenge his parents knowledge. Kept previous sets in car for long car rides. He is usually mostly interested in something on his tablet. CONS He whips right through these and they are not reused much.

There is nothing not to like about Brain Quest! I quiz my kids, ages 9 and 11, as we snuggle before bedtime. My son delights in getting questions that his older sister misses, and my daughter, well, she simply enjoys being right. We usually skip the math ones, because using scrap paper and writing these down are probably better. If you use these regularly, you and your kids will build up an impressive library of culturally relevant facts suitable for cocktail parties (you) or the classroom (your kids!). I was afraid that the competition would spoil the fun, but making jokes about the answers and questions keeps the mood light.

I remembered doing these with my teachers when I was in school and I was glad to hear they were still around! It’s a fun quiz activity for kids waiting for buses and other times where waiting is involved.

Great content, but very bad packaging. The screen-n-bolt mechanism which is so nice to rotate the cards, keeps opening up and I am most upset by it.The Grd 3 book Brain Quest I had picked up from America has never given this issue, but the one I procured from India has been opening up from Day 2. It makes one feel that Amazon feels its okay to NOT offer the same quality product across the world.

Perfect gift for back to school. Birthday gift for cousin. Always learn new facts from Brain Quest. Very educational.

Would have been nice to have a Canadian version
