DreamPond Praziquantel Powder Fluke Prazi Flukes Parasites Koi Pond 50g 100g 150g 200g (50g (Treats 5000 Gallons))

My pond's water quality took a dive, and I began losing fish - 1 or 2 every other day. As a whole, my koi looked sluggish, and some looked lethargic. I was noticing open sores on many of the fish, especially on the lethargic ones. I took many pictures of my sick fish and spoke to both pond experts and fish experts. Prazipro was recommended for a possible parasite infestation, but it was way too expensive to treat my 4,400 gallon pond.I drained half my pond and after refilling, got my water quality back to where it needed to be. I treated my pond with Praziquantel, and within days, my koi looked better. The first week after treatment, I did notice that many of the open sores were going away, but I was still losing fish, about 1-2 a week. After a second treatment, I stopped losing fish altogether, and I did not notice any sores on any of my fish. My pond's activity went back to normal.Praziquantel comes in powder form, so you will need to mix it up yourself. The product is very fine and light (like corn starch), and it is difficult to get it to completely dissolve. I used a 1.5 liter water bottle to add water and some powder and shook it up. I would then fill up a bucket and repeated until I had the proper amount required for my pond. No matter how hard I tried, I still had a few small clumps in my mixture. The instructions say to add the (mixed) medication throughout the pond, so that's what I did. I did notice some fish eat the floating clumps, but nothing bad happened to them.Praziquantel was the most economical way for me to treat (what I consider) a large pond. Overall, I lost about 15 fish but believe I would have lost my entire collection without using this product. I love the product for what it did for me but deducted 1 star because of how difficult it was to mix. I would definitely buy this again if needed.

My large silver koi Lucifer was feeling poorly and I determined he had gill fukes. I applied this med to the entire pond, and he is now eating and swimming with the rest of the fishies.

The product worked to heal the koi in my pond after winter. I did have to research a solution for dissolving the powder. I poured 2oz pond water and 1oz of vodka in to the container slow, secured the lid and shakes for about 5 minutes.

I bought this because my 2500 gallon Koi pond had several fish that appeared to have flukes and a couple developed ulcers putting the material in the water it cleared my pond up within 48 hours I thought it was amazing. As for the person who tried it before and then attempted to taste it that's not a wise idea unless that person has worms.

Excellent koi pond treatment

The product sold and labeled as 99.5 % pure Praziquantel, however the product has no taste. Praziquantel has a very bitter taste, so I don't know what the powder is. It is not Praziquantel.
