This mask was perfect for my sons costume!! Although it did have a strong rubber smell to it!! I washed it with dawn dish soap which helped! Overall great quality!!

This mask would be perfect if you could see with it on. It has 2 tiny openings and you have little to no visibility. You will walking into things with this on. I use it talking to my granddaughters, or at drive thru when picking up lunch.

Bought a random item for my kids to play with as a joke. Turns out it's been fun for the whole family. The mask fits all of us fairly well, better than most. While wearing the mask, you can still breathe easily and still hear unless you're wearing earbuds. Can be a little tricky to see out of but this can be fixed with aligning the mouth with your eyes. When we first got it, we did have to let it air out overnight as it did smell like rubber and plastic. Once done, we were able to have fun with it. One of my kids did attempt to walk one of our dogs with this but it got a little too warm and decided to take it off. The colors on this mask are very vibrant and look so much better in the daytime. Even with the constant use, this mask still looks great.

I make fan films, and while the paint job out of the package is a little too bright green, much like everyone's favorite gecko, with some work, it makes a passable Gorn from Star Trek, though not the original one, more like the one from "Enterprise" that appeared in 3d animated form.This was a lot of fun to convert!So, the pros about the mask are: Highly detailed and a fantastic base for cosplay.The cons: Very soft and doesn't hold its shape without something inside it to hold it up. Hard to see out of. (I created new eye slots and covered the chin hole and sealed up the mouth as it looked weird and drooped oddly.)Other than that, I was quite happy with the purchase and will definitely be using it in my next film.

This mask looks exactly like the picture, which is nice, and it's soft and not uncomfortable. It did smell horrendous when I got it out of the package (to the point that after I tried it on, my head smelled like rubber), but that has mostly dissipated. I didn't feel like I was suffocating or have trouble breathing. The big problem is that you really can't see out of this thing. You can kind of get a glimpse out of the mouth, but if you try to walk, the mouth bounces around and it's not well-lined up with my eyes to begin with. I think I'll take photos with it on and then apply scissors to make the mouth bigger so I can see and hope for the best.

I don’t know how this could be a called a costume if you cannot see out of it. Maybe a headpiece? There’s a hole where the mouth is but otherwise, it’s just smelly rubber, so in my opinion is in no way a wearable costume. Definitely don’t recommend.

We foolishly trusted whatever reviewer claimed to be able to see easily out of this. When you first put your head inside it, you discover that, unless your head is in fact lizard shaped, the few narrow openings are so far out in front of your face that it's like trying to look through a telescope with the eyepiece six inches away from your eye. There is a decent amount of airflow, or so we estimate, but the two of us who tried it on were so quickly overpowered by the unspeakably pervasive scent of mothballs that we had to bail out before the screams of dying brain cells permanently traumatized us. Not sure we made it in time. "Well, this isn't for us," we thought, "but just about everything on Amazon is returnable." We were wrong again, evidently. Maybe this thing can serve some one-time novelty use like filling it with meat remnants and posting on a pike outside our home for Halloween, but if you're buying it to wear it, learn from us and just... don't.

You won't be able to see out of this mask. The eye holes are in the lizard's nose and are just not lined up for any human head to use.However, if you don't mind not being able to see, the quality of the mask itself is pretty good. This earns it a star. And I guess one can always cut their own eye holes, so the mask gets another star.
