Superb Price!!! This beats my phone and all the mp3players hands down.
I spent years going down the MP3-player avenue and in the end realised 1) I just couldn't be bothered to load it up with data. 2) I just couldn't afford it. 3) I was worried about sound quality, battery life.Superb price. It's Rechargeable!!!!Can use it on my bike, in the car, on the beach, and anywhere in the hills where there's no wifi coverage, which happens a lot where I live/work.Sound quality is bang on.No faffing around looking for mp3 files, I already own a decent sized CD collection, so I just gather up my faves and off I go.Looks great.Great build quality.Connectivity = comes with all the cables you'll ever need.

Great bit of kit.
Not played my cds, of which I have Many!!, for ages, bought this on a whim and glad I did. Took it out the box, put in a disc, plugged in my own headphones and away we go. No more endless buffering streaming on the train, back to the simple old days of whole albums and great uninterrupted music. Great sound, easy to use, what's not to love. This is going to get a lot of use, good that it's easy to sign up for the extended warranty.

Solid Nice CD player with good sound and great functionality
I needed a new cd player for the car as mine had given up a while ago. (Criminal to not have a built in one in a vehicle these days but that’s just my opinion) I looked about and decided to go for this one and my choice proved to be worth it. Solid unit that connects easily to my car and I can control the functions via the buttons on my steering wheel. Very good sound as well + it also has rubbers stoppers on the bottom to stop it slipping all over the seat which my other player did in a regular basis. Overall, I’m impressed so far with my purchase and glad I took the chance on it.

Great CD Player
I've used this quite a few times now and it works great! It's simple, easy to use and sounds great when using my headphones (which aren't high-end headphones!). I've used this on the go and I've heard no skips so far so the Anti-Shock Protection works! I would absolutely recommend this CD player!

Excellent value for money
I bought this portable CD player for its Bluetooth connectivity, to listen to spoken word and music CDs at home. It connected easily to my Soundcore bluetooth speaker and Marathon bluetooth headphones, giving a sound quality which I found very impressive, considering its price. Even the supplied earbuds aren’t at all bad. It’s nicely designed, easy to use, seems to be well made, and the manual (which has to be downloaded from the Oakcastle website) is comprehensive and well-written.Overall, I’ve been very pleased with the player so far; having received it just today. My only reservations concern the Bluetooth functionality. You have to be fairly quick in changing CDs, otherwise it drops the bt connection, and it won’t automatically reconnect. You have to reset the speaker/headphones, and it then takes about a minute to re-establish a connection. The bt range isn’t as far as that of my laptop, so if I want to move around the house while listening it’s best to take the player with me.One feature of the device’s bluetooth – which was mentioned by another reviewer – is a low beat or flutter which can be heard during quiet passages or between tracks, and this may become annoying. The player itself is quiet, but the sound gets transmitted to the speaker/headphones over bt. It happens with any CD; but you don’t get it with a wired connection to the headphone socket.

CDs new lease of life.
After many months realising I have CDs that I no longer listen to I decided to turn the clock back and but a personal CD player. What a surprise. My Oakcastle CD100 has all the specifications I needed. Excellent sound quality, good battery life, ease of use and best of all portability. No longer will my CDs be in the cupboard but being listened to again after 20+ years. Added extra of an extended guarantee too.

Amazing Quality
I bought this device to try out as a space saving CD player with my classic hifi. I wasn't expecting much at the price but thought it would be worth at least a listen. I have to say I am quite amazed. The output amplifier in this thing is stonkingly good. No perceptible hiss or hum, exceptional stereo separation and a full frequency, very natural sound making it a joy to use with headphones. No skipping or tracking errors audible whatsoever. Works well plugged in to the hifi too, so I am very pleased. The fact that it is Bluetooth capable makes it a nobrainer of a choice at this price and I cannot recommend highly enough. It is not at all like some of the cheap and nasty devices from yesteryear, looks smart and the rechargeable batteries last well thanks to clever power saving features. As you may have gathered, I am very impressed!
