Every quote inspires a thought. One of the best collections I have ever read of his quotes. Wish he had lived in my time. To see him in person would have been a night to remember.

A "cute" book. Nothing you want read from cover-to-cover but ocassionaly read one of the sections or a few pages for a chuckle.

Mark Twain's satire from the past continues to wash onto the shores of today and it hasn't lost any of its charm. Presented with a wide variety of topics we get several takes from a master of wit & satire and are left laughing at how times may change but some things never do. A short read and a keeper for sure.

Quite amusing

Well, that was a waste of money. The book, as far as I got into it, seemed to be a lot of Mark Twain quotations loosely, very loosely, connected to various modern day topics. Perhaps if you were a Mark Twain keener they would have tickled your funny bone. They left mine untouched. Just wasn't for me.
