The petal power joy ride system is the only before, during and after ride chamois cream system developed specifically for women, by women. Why use a system? Chamois creams alone ignore the importance of getting really clean both before and after you ride. With the heat and friction that occur during a bike ride, our delicate skin can develop micro-tears. When bacteria enters the body through these tiny tears in the skin, saddle sores and other infections can develop. We created the three-step joy ride system with a simple mission: Start clean, ride happy, finish fresh. Step one: Start clean just as the name implies, clean start wipes allow you to start clean before applying chamois cream and getting on your bike. Bioactive plant extracts like tea tree oil, rosemary extract and lemongrass extract have natural antibacterial properties to gently cleanse your skin, wiping away many of the culprits that contribute to saddle sores and infection. Step two: Ride happy apply joy ride crème directly to your skin to help relieve chafing and friction during your ride. Formulated with natural, rich emollients to help lubricate, repair and protect delicate skin. Silky, long-lasting texture. Mild formula does not burn or tingle, contains no menthol or peppermint oil. Step three: Finish fresh after you ride, it's essential to get out of your shorts, hit the shower and lather up your nether regions to wash away harmful bacteria. Fresh finish cleanser is extremely mild yet highly effective with botanical ingredients such as tea tree oil, lavender extract and pine tree extracts to help naturally combat bacteria. Also contains ingredients with natural anti-inflammatory properties like aloe Vera, hops extract, cucumber and coconut derivatives. All of our products are natural and plant-based. No parabens, petroleum products or animal-derived ingredients. Gluten-free, cruelty-freehand vegan.

A FAB FAB FAB way to keep those pesky saddle issues at bay!...
I was introduced to this FAB 3 piece combo during a women's only MTB weekend clinic (Lindsey Voreis' "Grit Clinic"). As a female cyclist of more than 30 years, I've tried virtually every brand of chamois cream on the market so I wasn't sure if I really "needed" a 3 piece system. Well, after a weekend of using it, I knew that not only did I need it, I wanted to keep a 2nd set to keep on hand so that I'd always have it with me.While the chamois cream is FAB, it is really best used as a 3 piece system: it's simply genius to use the cleansing clothes to "prep" and then follow up with the chamois cream. Post ride, get out of those shorts as soon as you can & lather up with the wash. It's simple, easy & highly effective.I log thousands of miles each year on the road & on the trail. And, I do several MTB marathons each year & currently prepping to do the Leadville Trail 100 MTB, so I am logging plenty of time in the saddle these days...I This awesome 3 piece system has become in less than 6 weeks, a cycling staple. I'd encourage anyone to try it: you'll feel much better in the saddle & you'll experience significantly less issues as a result.Ladies: don't let saddle issues keep you from enjoying hours of comfort in the saddle...give this 3 piece system a try!

Great for us mountain bike ladies!
Awesome! I've had my first encounter with chamois cream with this stuff, so I don't have any other brands to compare to. But, this system is pretty amazing. I'm not sure how effective or necessary the wipes are but the cream itself and the after wash are genius. The cream smells kind of fruity and clean... but not overpowering. You cant smell the cream after you apply it. The after wash smells of tea tree oil which is super comforting after a long ride. So I never used a chamois cream before so I wasn't really sure what to expect. The consistency of the cream is like thin lotion. It glides on smooth and leaves you feeling super slippery (kind of gross sounding I know). It gets really hot a humid in the Boston area, so I am usually getting some type of friction rash down there. Not with this stuff! Actually have NO pain what-so-ever which is a totally new sensation after a two hour mountain bike ride. Kind of wish they sold this kid without the wipes because I'm not totally sold on their functionality.

Great for any level of cyclist
I recently participated in a women's specific mountain bike ride. While there, there was a woman handing out samples of the Petal Power joy ride chamois cream. I later tried it a few days later, skeptical because I love my current chamois cream. I was pleasantly surprised by the nice smell that wasn't overpowering. It went on smoothly and stayed on during my 3+ hour cross bike ride. I had used the "pre-ride wipes" pre-ride and they were nice, but a bit difficult to get out of the container one at a time. I also used the post-ride soap and found that it also had a pleasant smell and left me feeling clean. It didn't cause any "issues" post use either.

I tried the whole system, but the wipes are kind of annoying. They don't come out of the container very well and are kind of pointless if I put the cream on after a shower. I like the soap, but would probably just buy the cream if that is an option. Less waste in packaging that way too. I love the cream though. I trained for and "raced" a 43 mile mtn bike race (took my almost 5 hours, so I am not fast, hence the quotes around race), sometimes riding up to 100 miles in a week and it worked great! Kept me comfy.

So far so good!
Fun little three peice kit! I use the prewipes before applying the Joy ride cream and it causes a cool sensation that I kind of find annoying but maybe that's just me. The post ride wash I haven't really used because I usually hop in the shower after my rides and already have a gentle cleanser. This is the first chamois cream I've used so I haven't compared it to any other yet. You get a pretty good amount in the jar .I'm sure it will last me a long time. I ride three times a week.

Nice and gentle
The wipes and soap are nice. The creme is quite thin but smells good enough to eat. Not tingly or irritating at all. I use this on my very sensitive parts and a thicker tingly creme on the sit bones and tougher skin areas. I also use it as a recovery salve for after rides if I'm chaffed.

Great for Vegan Cyclists
At first the three part "system" seemed like overkill but it definitely works. I regularly cycle 100+ miles and this minimizes chaffing and discomfort. It is also vegan and even though I have sensitive skin and allergies, I have not had any problems with this at all.

love it
I am fairly new to cycling and this is my first chamois cream ever. This product definitely is helping me to stay comfortable on my 15-20 mile rides in high heat and humidity. I will purchase it again.
