Max Factory Kantai Collection: Kancolle: Yamato Kai PVC Figure (Heavy Armament Version)

Perhaps this is the most expensive Kancolle statue now. After released for 2 years, it's market value increased from 20000 JPY to 45000 JPY. I hesitated for a long while before I place the order (380 USD). But as a WWII navy fan, Yamato is a must have in my collection. I After two weeks waiting, she is here in my study room.Regarding the fleet girl herself, details are good. Painting is good. I don't have any complaint about it.But for the armor, frankly speaking, the painting quality is very mediocre. The gun and vessel lack color change such as shadow and rust. Compared with later product from GSC such as Yudachi Kai II or to be released Warspite, the painting looks like from a beginner modeler--it's clean, but not impressive enough. For your reference, I will attach a photo of my Yudachi where you can feel the difference in the painting quality.I am unsatisfied with her base. Can they find a more cheaper one!? It's just a piece of transparent plastic. Come on! U let the most formidable battleship sit on a piece of crap?Do I regret to buy it? No. As a modeler, I can fix her painting, and I can build a base for her. But at this price, I do recommend purchasing the light armor version if you are not a super fan of Yamato. A suitable price on this heavy armor version for me is 270 USD.

This product is absolutely awesome. I really feel it worth the price. It is extremely highly detailed an I have not yet find any kind of tiny flaws. Still there are 2 things that I would like to mention.1. It sacrifice the look of face in front to get a perfect 30 degree to 45 degree face. This is fine with me since it differ from all those common-rounded-faces. I just need to remind that if you could not accept the look of it in front, you should probably not buy it. I do not have picture with me, so if you want on just search on google.2. The major part of the price is actually the price for the armament, so if you are not extremely interested in the armament or solely interested in Yamato, getting the light armament version is a good choice since is A LOT cheaper and with the same completion level.(notice: Be extremely careful with the umbrella. If you could not put it on like described on the sheet, don't force it. You don't have to put it through the hair.)

The standard figure is all there, and she looks great. The guns look as impressive as they should (the individual barrels aren't movable, but that's not a deal breaker). But the base. Oh man, the base. The Heavy Armament version is $130 more than the standard figure. For that you're getting two things, the guns and the base, so it's fair to say you're paying $65 for each, right? The base is made of INCREDIBLY cheap, flimsy plastic that doesn't look anything like the demo pictures that everyone selling this figure uses. If I didn't buy first-party from Amazon and if it didn't come in the official packaging I'd swear I got a Hong Kong bootleg version of the base. It's that bad.Is it cool? Absolutely. Do I regret buying it? No. Is it worth the price? I have to say it isn't, especially considering that by the time you're reading this review the prices will have risen well above the original retail of $270.

Item come in perfect condition, very fast ship speed and service. The base(water) looks cheap and not very nice, but Yamato and her cannons are very good.delicate. So if you are not a super fan you can buy another one without armor/cannons.

定価より少し高い値段でしたが、結構前の商品なので新品で手に入るなら…と思い意を決して購入。数日後、巨大なダンボールと共に我が家に着任しました。開封すると、開け方に困惑するほど丁重に梱包された白い箱が…思わず息を飲みました。。複数パーツに分けた状態で封入されていたので、傷をつけないように丁寧に組み上げ10分ほどかけて完成！今では自室のパソコンの横でいつも見守っててくれています。何か所か艤装を動かせるギミックも内蔵しているので砲撃ごっこもできますｗ大和好きで購入を検討している方は是非！この感動を味わってもらいたいです！！

定価より高めで、中古でしたが、レビュー見てると欲しくなり購入。外箱は開封してましたが、ブリスターは未開封、ラッキー。出来映えは皆さんレビューのように最高ですが、やはり傘の取り付けに苦労しました。気になる方は、これ以上、価格が上がる前に購入した方が良いと思います。

届いて受け取った瞬間大きい段ボールでした。？？？1/8なのにこんなに大かったかなって思ったぐらいでダンボールを開けると？？？大和の本体の箱でっか！って感じ興奮してしまいますた。箱を開封すると、やはり大きいそして大和の装備が大きいのに感動しました。流石大和って感じで他の艦娘にはかなわないな大きさでした。写真に乗っている浸水の画像どうりではありませんでした。そこが期待していた半面ちょとがっかりしました。でも総合的に大満足です。

さすがはマックスファクトリー製のフィギュアですね。この大和改は初期不良が多いと聞いてましたが、初期不良もなく最高に良い状態で届いて大満足です！次は榛名改二を買おうかな......
