Glaxal Base Moisturizing Cream is a premium moisturizer for dry, irritated, sensitive, and aging skin. It is the ideal moisturizing solution for dry skin associated with harsh treatments. Glaxal Base Moisturizing Cream is for the entire family. It is the perfect solution for helping damaged skin to retain its moisture content and thus delay flaking of the superficial layer. The oil-in-water emulsifying characteristics moisturize the skin by providing a layer of oil on the surface of the skin to slow water loss and thus increase the moisture content of the skin. Glaxal Base is hypoallergenic, perfume-free, lanolin-free and non-greasy. INGREDIENTS Water, Petrolatum, Cetearyl Alcohol, Paraffinum Liquidum, Cereareth-20, Sodium Phosphate, p-chloro-m-cresol. DIRECTIONS Apply as needed several times daily. For external use only. Keep container tightly closed.

Perfect for Folks With Any Skin Issue
This product is wonderfully thick, unscented, and is not greasy or oily. It is much better than any other lotion I’ve tried. I’ve used it on my grandkids knees and elbows to soften them. I’ve purchased three of these so far. I recommend this product.

Helps heal cracked skin, for real.
This stuff was originally recommended to us by the nursing staff in the maternity ward of the hospital in which my former spouse gave birth to our son. The nurses there recommend it to new mothers to use on their nipples to avoid chafing and cracking, particularly when there are delays or problems with a newborn developing a proper breastfeeding latch. Now, if the stuff is benign enough for tender new-mom nipples and little infant lips, it passes product safety muster with me.The reason, though, that it merits five stars is that it works so well to heal my cracked skin --finger nail 'corners' and feet at the heels-- performing noticeably better at that task than any other skin cream I've ever used. (Laboring as a boatman before son's birth, I had tried a lot of others.) Have been a fan of Glaxal Base Moisturizing Cream now for just about twenty years. It has dependably promoted rapid healing and I have remained grateful to the maternity nurses for their recommendation.

A gentle but great moisturizer!
This cream is awesome! It is the only cream that my skin does not react to, which is saying a lot. It's thick and hydrating, so give it a few minutes to dry, but it's soooo worth it. Please continue carrying this, as it is a godsend and has helped so much. Thank you!

Smells weird
There are so many skin types that maybe this will be perfect for you, but to me it's just not what I'm looking for. It has a weird medical smell that's kind of chemically and reminds me of hospitals. After rubbing it into my face skin, it's not greasy or anything, but I just feel kind of dry and not smooth. I've used a few other things on my combination skin that seen to work better, like goldbond psoriasis relief and aveena exzema whatever it's called.Your experience may be different, and this brand was highly recommended on a skincare addicts subreddit. It's just not for my skin or nostrils.

I live in Sweden and I was introduced to this cream when i visitid Canada, A pharmacist recomended this cream to me when i explained my problem to her. ( I have some serios dry skin problem, and i apply this cream to my face.)It has been a lifesaver that I have been abtle to order the product from Sweden via amazon.I have a question altho, I feel like 5-6 weeks after i open the jar, the consistency of the cream changes and i cant use it anymore, Is it just in my head? or does anyone else feel this way? and i would love tips of how to "handle" the jar or tube to store it in the best way.and the second question is, when will the product come back for sale? At the moment, i cant order this product.

Did I received an opened product?
I opened my box today to see the glaxal base lid and outer edge of the tub to be covered with the product. I am not sure if this level of product in the tub is also normal, as there seems to be a good inch and a half missing from the tub. All of this makes me wonder if this product had been used? The cream is great but since it looks used, I am not sure if I should use it.
