Blue SAE and Metric Bolt Gauge Check a Thread Fastener Tool

This gem is such a time saver. Not only is it great for sorting that can, or jar of nuts and bolts, but is perfect when trying to get the correct screw, bolt, or nut to replace when working on a project. This prevents you from grabbing a nut or screw that looks like it fits, only to screw up the threads because you didn't use this tester first. You really don't think about this little gem until you need it, and then you'll be glad you had it. This is so handy, on so many levels. Just think about your going to Home Depot, or Lowes with a nut, screw, or bolt in your hand to replace. You use the one they have to find the correct part. Save time, get this and know what you need. I have to admit, it's mounted next to my work bench, and I use it more than I thought I would, and so will you. Mine is Blue, but they come in White and Yellow as well. Besides, it will make your neighbor jealous when he sees it, and realizes how squared away you are, and it looks professional mounted in the garage.

This thing works great! Screw in you nut or bolt and you know exactly what size and thread you need for replacement. Handles a wide range, american and metric.

This thing is beefy and much more sturdy than I ever imagined. I had read some of them are warped but mine is not and feels really well built. It's actually kind of heavy. Headed out to put it on the wall in the garage now!

Love this thing. No need to drive to the hardware store just to check threads before ordering specialty hardware from McMaster Carr. Awesome purchase.

Great addition to my workspace. Makes cleanup much easier. It also makes sourcing a replacement parts easier too. No more wandering thru the hardware store trying to find the exact part you need. Diameter, threading, length... I can order what I need with minimal risk.

If all the versions available, this is the one you want. Great quality

This product looks like it will be great. However, mine came shipped looking used and drug around. I am returning and asking for a replacement. I will update this review when the problem gets settled.UPDATE: Seller was awesome with replacement. All is good now. Get this product.
