Who could possibly give this less than a 5 star review?
I've gone through quite a few mic stand trays the last few years, some obviously better than others, but this one gets the Gold Star.Anyone reading this review, you need not look any further for a tray to serve your needs. It's an all-in-one tray that handles practically anything you would reasonably want to put on/in it. It's plastic but well made and the accessories snap right into place. It's also highly portable in that it's easily disassembled. The only thing missing (IMHO) is a storage bag for transport. It costs a lot, but worth every penny.

Versatile Unit with a few Quirks
Got tired of those Gator Frameworks trays. They never actually screw onto the mic stand properly and the plastic is always cracking so you have to replace them nearly every year. Stumbled on this piece of kit and I am pretty well pleased. The mounting system is perfect. This thing is FAR sturdier than the Gator tray. I like that accessories slide on but I wish they were a bit tighter. They come off in transport. Not a huge deal but I will probably wind up with some glue or velcro to hold them in place. When at a gig, they're fine. The cup holder is a little on the smaller side. I wish it was big enough for an insulated water bottle. Nitpicking I know but it's a thing. All the things you can attach to this in different configurations make it so much better than anything else I've tried. For an extra $15, you can have this starter kit over the Gator Frameworks and not only have a better designed unit but also incredibly more durable. I doubt I will need to buy one again. Great solution I would highly recommend to any gigging musician.

Great
Great to have for live or studio use. Musicians bring a bunch of junk and leave it laying around. This helps.

The tray and cupholder are all I need, but boy do I need them!
Love this contraption. It is easy to put on and take off, and such a great tool for holding a few harmonicas, a setlist, phone, extra picks, and any other small items you might need during your set! The rubber bottom is perfect so things don't slide. I never seem to forget it on stage, which blows my mind. I must like it too much!!

Brittle materials - NOT gig ready
On first unboxing and setup, the clamp let go (likely my fault, mea culpa). The tray with long hook installed fell about 2-1/2 ft to a carpeted floor...and snap went the headphone hook. Looking at it, the plastic used seems quite brittle and fragile. I doubt the hooks and slide-in attachment points are going to prove to be road-worthy.The quick release clamp, once adjusted properly (my bad) works great, and the quick setup is what I was looking for. But the tray bristling with hooks is never going to survive gig transport, nor likely use based on my experience, and removing and re-configuring the hooks kills the quick setup idea.Maybe a better design would be more robust non-removable swing out arms on a vertical hinge (a brass pin or such). Not as user configurable, but super quick setup.IMHO, it's a good idea, not well executed or really thought throug, and too much money for something that isn't durable. YMMV, caveat emptor.
