Excellent knife
This cheese knife is the best one I've ever had. It cuts any thickness of slice in a variety of hard and soft cheese.

Quality product but…
Knife looks good quality, good grip, sharp, it gets cleans very easy, but the blade is short, which doesn’t allow to cut easily, meaning there is not angle to make cuts, the cheese of my preference is not hard and this knife requiere some pressure down to cut. But I haven’t found another better design.

Too thick, not very sharp
This is a pretty knife and it feels good in my hand. However, it doesn't cut cheese very well. The blade is too thick so crumbly cheeses break rather than cutting cleanly. It also doesn't cut straight, the blade pulls strongly to one side. The square end is not sharp at all but the main edge is not very sharp either.

Solid knife
This knife has become my favorite knife. It is very high quality and sturdy. I'm going to see if there are other styles like a pairing knife, available. I only hand wash it because I want to keep the wood finish perfect.

Solid Cheese Knife
This thing has some heft. It's a solid, tough knife, and I did not need to sharpen it at all out of the box. This was a replace for some cruddy little knife that came with a cheese cutter set. (Still not sure how we lost a cheese knife, however small, but whatever...) Did I need $30+ cheese knife? No. But I'm pretty sure we'll never have to purchase such a product again. It's strong, cuts smoothly, etc. All good. Someone asked if the cheese sticks to it... and the answer is for some softer cheeses, yes, of course. But even though this is maybe meant for harder cheeses, I use it for things like cheddar, and jack cheeses, etc. and it works fine. When there is some sticking, it's minor and you can just flick the pieces off of it.

Happy birthday to me, I’m now old enough to be excited about a cheese knife!
I got this as a birthday gift, because yes, I have reached the age where getting a cheese knife for my birthday is actually something I get excited about. That age is 34 in my case if you were wondering. With all the staying home, we no longer go out for date night and instead make a charcuterie board at home. This knife is the perfect addition. It cuts evenly, it’s sharp, it’s small enough to stay out of the way on the board, and the flat edge on the top is perfect for slicing a thin block of cheese. It’s seriously great. And the added bonus that it looks cool. I’d totally give this as a gift, as it also comes in a nice box.
