When I ordered this shirt I was very uneasy about if it would actually work and if the size I ordered would even fit me. I ordered up two sizes and got the XXL and the shirt fits fantastic! I am 5' 10", 191 pounds and thought it might be too big because I wear a large in regular t-shirts but took advice of other buyers and happy that I did so I would definitely recommend to order up one or even two sizes according to the size chart. I was also impressed that the shirt has protection in the chest and back in addition to the ribs area. I mainly bought the shirt because I cracked a rib 2 months ago playing basketball so I needed some extra protection for my ribs. I wear this shirt over a white undershirt and then wear another t shirt over and love that is nots noticeable under the shirt but feels so good when I play and makes me feel protected which let's me play without worrying about getting hurt. I do wish the rib protection extended a little bit more to the front of the ribs but that's the only change I would make with this shirt. Other than that I think it's great and the price is not bad for the protection it provides. I have worn this shirt now for about two weeks playing alot of full court games and it has held up great. I usually just air dry it after playing but will be hand washing it soon because I don't want it to start smelling like sweat which I can't believe it hasn't already. Overall I feel this was great purchase!

We ordered this vest and washed it a few times, and it fell apart. Then we read the directions (duh), and reordered. Do not put in washing machine or dryer. My husband needs the armor protection for mountain biking and this seems to work.

I ordered this shirt after bruising my ribs in practice. It is a mens medium and I am a fairly small woman. I cannot tell you how much comfort and relief it offered, especially while playing. As an older player in my late 40's the extra support is invaluable - great buy for the money.

This is a nice quality fabric and seems sturdy BUT the padding is styrofoam pieces that must be pieced together like puzzle pieces. They are like that on all padded areas- SO when washed all of the pieces move and it is not functioning!! If you maybe rinse shirt in like the shower; it may stay perfect!UPDATE—— seller contacted me and offered a refund! I updated my rating to 3 stars!!! My son truly loved this shirt for the record!

So my chest is 42 and im 5.11 , waist is 34 195pounds. The Asian xxl fits perfectly not tight more like a normal large shirt. Im a mtb . Pads are in a good spot probably more for a side impact and a little for a above impact such as low tree branchs. If you fell face first at your shoulder you wont be protected at the front part of your shoulder . It goes from top of shoulder and down side of arm.. I fell a couple months ago mtb and had a semi tear on my rotator cuff,. This and elbow pads would have helped . But it was a freak accident and i haven't found anything except a full body suit that looked like it would have saved me. This was second closest and affordable. Good quality but for the price fit was more important to me.

Pads fell apart after less than 2 months of use. Too late to return.

I had heart by pass surgery in January and provides good protection for my sternum while playing baseball.
