Rechargeable Battery Powered Security CameraI have been tempted to purchase a security camera like this for quite some time now, after receiving this I really don't know why I hadn't order one before?The camera is supplied well protected in a heavy foam holder within a sturdy box. In the box is the security camera itself, along with an adjustable mount and USB charging cable. I was very pleased by the apparent high quality of the camera which really does look well constructed, for it's small size it really is quite heavy. The camera has a single threaded hole on the rear where it screws into the adjustable mount, it can be quickly removed for charging. On the underside of the camera is a silicone seal that protects the charging port, along with the 2 control buttons from becoming wet.Installation of this is straightforward, just fix the mount in the desired position using the 3 provided screws. Once the mount is in place the camera can be attached and locked into position.First thing is to fully charge the battery. This has a built in 10400mAh battery which should last for up to 4 months before needing to be recharged. Pairing this with my phone and Wi-Fi was straightforward, just download the CloudEdge app by scanning the QR code in the user manual. Once installed just follow the on-screen guide. My camera was up and running within minutes after it had recognised my Wi-Fi and downloaded the latest camera update.I placed this in my porch area facing down towards the entrance, the camera can be moved to the optimum position by viewing the camera feed in the app. Video quality is top notch, it was far better than I was expecting. What I love about the camera is that if somebody walks within the cameras view, then a notification is sent to your phone where you can then view the camera feed to see what has triggered it. If someone arrives at your door you can speak to them by using the inbuilt intercom. Sound quality is clear and eay to understand.The best feature for me is that I can access the camera from anywhere in the country. So if out for the day and I'm expecting a parcel delivery, I am alerted by my phone when they arrive on my doorstep. I can then talk to the courier via the intercom to give delivery instructions.I'm very pleased with this camera, it certainly appears to be well made. What an amazing piece of security equipment.I have used security cameras in the past that where electric, but the quality was poor and ugly cables across the front and inside our house drove me mad, plus the quality and ease of use was very off putting.But this security camera by ‘Kamtron’ is superb!!!It took me 15mins to install and I had to download a free app to my phone.It connected immediately and is so easy to use. The quality is outstanding for the price, it has an intercom that allows you to talk through the camera, even when you’re not at home. I was out for dinner today and an alert was sent to my phone letting me know that the camera had detected movement, it was only my neighbour, but I was 35 miles away in a restaraunt and I was able to speak to him live... very, very impressive, plus it was all recorded.This security camera has plenty of other little features that I love, like a detection alarm and screenshot option, you can even share the camera to another mobile... I will 100% be ordering more!Simple to install, simple to use and simply the way forward in security cameras.To say I’m happy is an understatement.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I currently have 4 wired CCTV cameras and to install them is really difficult and a lot of hassle, with this been wireless it is soo easy to set up and put on and the re chargeable battery lasts along time.The picture quality is excellent and the night vision view is really good also. The motion detection has different settings to allow you to only pick up larger things like people and cars as apposed to anything that moves.The camera also has a working microphone and a speaker which for the price this camera costs is excellent.You need to also buy a micro sd card for this camera so be aware, it does however come with 7 days free cloud storage.

I’ve had this camera a few days now and I have been really pleased that it meet all my requirements that I wanted for a security cam and the cam works really well with the CloudEdge Application. Once the app has downloaded, I signed up to the app using email address etc and then followed the installation guide as I walked through the device setup. The setup was a bit tricky though as I linked the camera to my tablet using the QR code from the manual. It took a few attempts but eventually I got there. Slight downside is that the camera will lose its feed if the connection drops below 80% as the connection will not be able to maintain a HD connection at a reduced bandwidth, but the app has a range of settings that allows me to set the auto feature that will switch between SD and HD depending on the bandwidth.I haven’t set the camera up as a security camera as yet, I have purchased the device to monitor wildlife, as we have a small herd of deer that visits our backyard. This is where the motion sensor is excellent as it saves me from constantly watching of the screen and I can rely on the motion sensor to automatically record the deer. I have had the camera pitched on my living windowsill and in the last 2 nights I have recorded 47 minutes of 5 deer skipping through my back yard eating the leaves from the bushes etc before the skip onto somewhere else.Occasionally, the motion sensor switches on when the next doors cat comes striding through the yard, or the morning birds will also stir the camera and record, but it shows that the sensor is working which uses the battery quicker. However, the motion sensor sensitivity can be managed from within the app. The app even tells me when the battery is getting low.The device also comes with a physical mount to allow the camera to be setup in a semi-permanent position. All in all, a really good device and an accompanying app.
