Calculus - Standalone book Third Edition

I is really a goos one even thought it was used.

Excellent standard textbook.

This was a book I needed for my class. Being in school is already expensive and this book was one of the most costly books I have needed for any class. With that being said, I thought it would be helpful to buy the copy. The binding is extremely fragile and the paper feels thin like magazine paper. One flip and the pages rip. This is an awful product that makes math something more annoying. I love math and I love learning. This book did not help me. It was incredibly hard to study with given its poor quality. I cannot believe this book costs so much. Please try to make mathematics more accessible. Amazon should higher their standards for books sold on here ESPECIALLY given the quality of it.

Cornell University uses this textbook for Single and Multi-Variable Calculus!The book teaches the concept well (I can study just with this if I wanted to)Rent it for the semester if ur in college, since it's much cheaper that way!

Examples are mostly clear and this edition covers a very broad amount of calculus with the right professor this book can seem great. Good condition for a rental.

This book is not one of the better Calculus books I've seen. It doesn't explain concepts in a relatable way. You probably would need to have gotten an A and remembered every single thing from a Pre-calculus book to understand this one in the slightest. It tends to be a bit droning, reciting overly technical definitions of things without doing a good job of relating it to the real world --- but then its examples are insufficient in teaching what really needs to be taught for you to do well in the class. Youtube videos have helped me much more than this textbook, and I've borrowed older books that actually seem to be written in English to help me get by.

The book was in great condition and came at a great price for a college textbook.

This book is the Early Transcendentals Single variable Calculus. The link in Amazon is incorrect which was causing me to place the wrong order and be late to cancel.
