Like many of you I had tried the lesser expensive "put it in some hot water and the chomp down on it" style mouth guards to reduce or eliminate grinding your teeth particularly while sleeping. I would bet that like many of you that initially resulted in a pretty painful mouth and a less than perfect fit. Reminded me of a mouth guard that football players wear. They were ill fitting and uncomfortable to wear, so, I wouldn't wear them. Another $20 - $50 down the drain. Still grinding my teeth. I was having lunch with a friend and before the food came they discretely removed something from their mouth and they explained that they were using those clear non metallic braces to straighten their teeth, and I thought it would be great if I could get something that fits like that for my grinding. Then I came across REMI. My first thought was "man, these are not cheap", and moreover you have to create impressions (not the most fun) and then send them off, and wait. Look, I bought these here on Amazon where waiting isn't the norm, but I did it anyway as several tries with the cheaper options just didn't work. Well, I am glad I did! The guards fit PERFECTLY! They feel fine, no sore gums in the morning. Friends, this isn't after 1 or 2 weeks, this is after almost a year of wearing them every night and the reason I can wear them every night is because they fit perfectly. REMI carefully checks your impressions before they make the guards so when your guards arrive they are going to fit, and believe me, when they fit right you will wear them! I have to say that this is one case where you really do get what you pay for.!

Literally my first review out of the millions of Amazon purchases I've made (we jokingly call him "Lord Bezos")...why my first review? Because the folks at Remi actually sent me what looks like a hand written card asking me to take the time to post a review on Amazon. With that kind of outreach, what sort of hard-hearted demon would ignore?First of all, I had no experience with mouth guards like this ever before. I'm on cheap dental insurance so I went to some crappy dentist who did a very hasty job cleaning my teeth but sure as heck tried to up sell me on a $750 mouth guard because, out of all my 51 years, he "discovered" that I had bruxism or something like that...he handed me these '80s-esque print outs of rotten teeth and scary images and said "this'll be you before long"...I had noticed that I was clenching my jaw at night over the last few years so I thought I'd investigate options. Of course, I looked to see if Lord Bezos had options cheaper than $750 and lo and behold the Remi guards popped up.They sent the molds, detailed instructions and I set about making it happen. I think I remember correctly that part of it is they ask you to send in photos of the molds you did. A few days later I got an email back saying I'd kinda messed it up, told me what I needed to do to make it more accurate (too much of the mold in the back, not enough in the front--make sure you get the mold to go OVER your front gums and worry less about getting the area behind the teeth). A day or two later, more mold material came to me and I set about it again, did it right, sent the pics, and mailed in my molds.I was in no rush, figuring I'm saving like $600 and it's not like my teeth are falling out, so waited a week or so for the final product to come in. Dude, let me tell you, the guards fit perfectly, popped right in and were super comfortable. They really are very similar to my daughter's new-school "retainer" from the Porsche-driving orthodontist (who probably charged us $800 for exactly the same thing). You can talk no problem, breath no problem and I know they're working because after a few days I noticed a little scuffing on one side where I was grinding against them (I opted to get two upper guards rather than a lower and an upper...Remi gives you a choice and thank goodness I did bcs my dog got ahold of one of them and chewed it up)...All I can say is this process was smooth, deliberate, accurate and included excellent outreach and customer service...My wife actually has a dentist-purchased guard and it's a huge pain in the butt--she has to warm it up to soften it in order for it to fit comfortably and she sounds like she's got a chicken sandwich in her mouth when she talks...maybe that's a good thing ;-)...Can't recommend Remi enough and thanks to "Oscar" for the prompt to write my first Amazon review ever.

I was skeptical at first but the reviews helped me try it, and I’m so glad I did. Only fair to share my positive review. First is the top notch quality and fit of the guards. Very pleased. Next to first is the excellent customer service and communication. Very prompt and informative. Last and foremost is the huge savings. My dentist recommends a night guard but wants $650, and my dental insurance does not cover night guards. Just follow the clear instructions and results will be perfect. Thank you REMI for the cost saving option for quality product.
