KOS Hot Chocolate Mix - Cinnamon Cocoa Flavored Mushroom Hot Chocolate - Dairy and Sugar Free, Vegan

After reading the reviews I wasn't sure what the taste was going to be like, whether I would like it or hate it.Turns out for me that I like it quite a bit! I have it with half milk half water, and drink it hot, and I find it's a satisfying replacement for something chocolate-ish, if not exactly hot cocoa.The price seems a bit steep, but when I think about it as $1/serving that's very reasonable.All in all I like it and I'll be keeping it in rotation with A Whole Latte Gold for when I need to scratch that fancy coffee drink type itch.

I love functional mushrooms and I enjoy that there are three different mushrooms in this mix. Although, I would much rather this be a chaga and reishi mix for relaxing at the end of the day. I still find it very relaxing yet stimulating. The taste is pretty good but I get more cinnamon than cocoa. So I just add my own cocoa to make it more chocolatey. Great to add to smoothies or baking!!

I am new to the brand KOS and have tried a variety of their products. When I came across this hot chocolate version I was excited. If you’re looking for sweet then this isn’t for you. It kind of reminds me of hot chocolate that I once had in Italy, no sweetness at all, you have to add it yourself. I bought a sugar free syrup to add a bit of sweetness to it and it came out perfect. I would recommend this product and will purchase again when I’m all out.

I'm convinced that the other reviewers who said this was yummy have never actually tasted anything yummy. I want to be healthy too, but damn. When I opened the package, which was a lot tinier than I expected it to be, I thought it smelled odd, but I figured the smell would dissipate when I added the powder to water. Boy was I wrong. The water made it smell worse. So much worse. But, again, I figured that if I got past that the taste would be good because so many people on Amazon said it was yummy. This time, not only was I wrong, but so were all the people who thought this was good. You all were wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong and you owe me $20+ because I had to throw it away. Nothing could make this palatable. Nothing.

I’ve already been using the protein from them and wanted to try this out. The flavor is amazing! I’ve been using it with hot milk so far, and love it. I haven’t tried it water yet. The only thing I would have to say is, make sure to keep a spoon with you. The pow Eder kinda clumps at the bottom, so it’s best to keep stirring it.

I've had different mushroom drinks, but this one has an odd flavor. I think it's the monk fruit, but not sure. However, it taste good when I add a generous amount of flavored creamer.

I've tried this a few different ways, on it's own and mixed into other drinks... Including some strong stuff like espresso with my morning americano.So far, The only palatable combination I've found is adding the scoop of this to my protein shakes (which are "cinnamon bun" flavor). I still get a bit of the taste of this powder through my shake, which is still unwelcome. but it's covered up enough for me to get it down.So, overall, I won't be buying it again. To be far, I think this is probably my fault. I've had mushroom (reishi/lion's maine) COCOA before and that's what I was expecting. This is CACAO... My mistake.

If you love Mexican Hot Chocolate, you will love this product. I love it so much I‘ve sent two containers as gifts to friends who also have been looking for a healthy snack with added nutrition benefits and very low sugar. I have a cup as a mid-afternoon snack and I don’t need a pre-dinner snack. It’s a little pricey for the size of the container, but count me as a big fan.
