The mat is beautiful, as the picture shows, but it is very thick, close to 2", and becomes an extreme tripping hazard when there is no step-down in front of door, as with my daughter's apartment. I decided to use it at my house, but found that it presents something of a twist-your-ankle risk because it's not as wide as a normal door and too shallow to step up to as you come to the door. The sisal mat I have there now is about 50% larger.I went through the process of requesting to return, was approved, and then spent a couple of hours cutting a cardboard cover and carefully packing it. I took it to UPS and was surprised to find out that I would have to pay $30 to return it. I've never paid for an Amazon return before. (Note to self: when the return says "Self ship" it means you have to pay.) So... not sure what I'll do with it now.

I’ve had this Mat for only a few weeks, it is literally making my front entrance look like a barn , it’s losing numerous hay like materials daily! Not worth the money!

I recently had my house painted and I wanted a really thick mat for the front door - this one is really thick and sturdy and makes the door look great - I'm really really happy with this - honestly buying through Amazon sometimes you get really cheap stuff, but this is high quality and worth the price.

Just about 2 inches in height, navy blue color and the lettering is not painted on but designed from the actual fibers the mat is made from. I’m guessing they used a stencil and painted the blue coloring around the stencil.Thicker than your normal doormat, I’ve tripped over it 4 times already walking through the front door but I’m ok with that because I LOVE IT!

This is a terrific mat. It arrived and I put it out, when I turned around a couple neighbors were walking buy and commented how good it looked and said they never saw a mat built that thick. With the Pine Cone design they both said it was a great addition to the look of the doorway. I would recommend it for the quality and the great price.

This product is better than I expected. It’s thinker than the ones I have from pottery barn! Lovely colors and I am very pleased with it. If you’re on the fence buy it!

Have only had this item a short time. Seems very sturdy and should hold up very well here in SoCal. I just have to get used to the extra thickness. Be sure you are aware that this is “extra thick” if you buy it.

I will be contacting the company direct. The mat is coir, and lots of bits of coir came out from the first time I walked over it. It smelled awful. After we had only had it for a few days my husband picked it up to gently shake off the bits of coir and dust - and part of the mat fell off. Very disappointing. I will be taking a photo and complaining. I hope I get a full refund.

The mat was good just like the photo but the smell of it was terrible it stank out the house so had to return it but did get a full refund ,very sad as the colours were good

Quality of door mat good a but if shredding initially but it’s outside so that’s ok. It’s nice and colourful like the picture. Also it’s thinner than normal so it’s a perfect fit for the lip at the front door. I like FABHAB - excellent brand, all my floor rugs for outside are FABHAB

I love this carpet. Will def buy again. Such a great accent.
