12-Ounce Double Wall Glass Cup, Set of 2

I've only had them ten days and one is broken already. They are just as fragile as the Bodum glasses. The Bodums are made in China and the Northwest are made in Taiwan. The vertical swirls in the Northwest also have the effect of making it more difficult to stir. For example: With ice cubes I can't mix them easily to cool down the drink because the raised swirl pattern keeps the cubes from rotating. They should not have put the raised pattern on the inside.I'll just stick with the Tervis tumblers  Tervis 12 ounce Clear Tumbler Set of Four . They also happen to be US made. I don't like plastic nearly as much as glass because they scratch easily and sometimes get slightly stained from some fluids like coffee so I have to use bleach once in a while to clean them.

Don't need coasters with double wall glasses, but some of them can be very fragile. The glass is just a bit heavier, but I think that the scalloped inner layer goes a long way to increase its strength.

We love these glasses, but they certainly break too easily, the first one broke the very day it arrived... it is at the base of the inner compartment, all of a sudden you might notice your drink going thru the first compartment into the second, and all you can do is throwing it away. SOO SAD.

Perfect for both hot and cold beverages and doesn't allow the outside to sweat on your table or counter if you live in a humid climate.
