Impressive...Most Impressive....
First, I was skeptical of what the quality would be (for under US 30) as many of the hammered surface knives are quite expensive.....I am pleased to report the quality is way beyond expectations. Seams are so tight together among the parts of the handle there is no gaps or "sloppy" binding.....it is immaculate. The cutting edge is very sharp although I may hone it on a 5000 grit stone for even more sharpness. The cutting edge is also nicely shaped for a chopping and rocking motion as well as slicing. It is almost like a cross between a cleaver and a chef knife shape. I really like the feel of the handle and the weighting of the blade- balance point is right in front of the handle so it is not blade or handle heavy to use, right in the middle. The materials are top quality. I would point out the blade is 6.75 inches at the widest cutting portion. Overall a spectacular knife at an unbelievable price. If I could give it 6 stars I would!!

The knife has an obvious weight to it but still is well portioned
This knife is a great buy! Even for the price without any promotions, this knife is totally worth it. It just screams quality and efficiency. The knife may be a little on the heavy side for a small population of it's users but it is a CLEAVER after all. The blade is insanely sharp and is obviously well-made, from the carbon steel blade to the wood handle. This is an excellent gift idea for anyone! I've been looking for a cleaver for quite awhile and this is it! There are so many shiet cleavers on the market right now with plastic handles and dull within a few uses. Not this one! Get this and be satisfied for the rest of your life! This is premier shiet! The box it comes in is pretty classy too for a $30 knife!

Nicest knife in the drawer!
I purchased the Nakiri blade as a gift for my wife. I hope she likes it as much as I do. The blade is stunning! The handle fits great in the hand and matches the beauty of the blade. The knife feels substantial (has a good weight) and the edge is razor sharp right out of the box. She has a Japanese knife that cost 3x more than this one. It has been a good performer, but I suspect this Ytuomzi blade will take its place as the go to knife in the kitchen. I'm planning on buying the matching cleaver and chef knife to complete the collection.

10 oz, not 7.8 as described
First impression: so shiny, I thought it was carbon steel, should it be more dull? Seems heavier than expected, since product detail saids 7.8 oz. I weighted it and it's 10 oz. I sliced some watermelon & eggplants. It cuts good!!! Surprised! I bought this cuz I thought it'd be lighter but it works well. Good knife!

I’ve worked in Asian kitchens and needed and affordable but good knife.
I looked through a whole bunch of reviews before deciding on this knife. For me I needed something that was going to be super sharp and felt good and balanced in my hand. If you’re somebody who is shopping for this kind of knife then you’re probably looking for something similar. You need to remember that this knife and the metal it’s made out of needs to be up kept with regular maintenance. If you’re trying to do that and be respectful to the knife it will take care of you. This knife is an absolute joy to use I would recommend it to anyone looking at this product

So Sharp You Can Play Real Life Fruit Ninja!
The media could not be loaded. Holy wow! We'd been using basic knives from Target before and when one finally broke we decided to finally get a really good set of knives. These are not only a great price and attractive looking but from the moment they came out of the box we knew we had something special.First we did the paper test and sliced smoothly through a piece of thick paper. Then we went all Fruit Ninja. Watermelon? Cleaved in two with one fell stroke. Banana? Mid air slice right across the middle. Oranges? Wedged in under 10 seconds for easy packing into kids' lunches. Salami? Slices so thin you can't even see them!Just be sure to pay attention to what you're doing or you might just cut off a finger without realizing it!See the attached video if you don't believe me!Disclaimer: No food was wasted in the making of the video. All sliced objects were part of a delicious lunch.

Great knife for what it is
This knife is relatively sharp out of the box and looks amazing. I’ve used it a few times and haven’t felt the need to sharpen it since first use but I know once I start cutting more meat than veggies it will need to be sharpened. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 for maneuverability is because my mother finds it hard to use. I’m not a chef by any means but I cook for myself a lot and personally don’t find it impossible to maneuver. It’s a cleaver, it’s not going to be a Ferrari of knifes but if you need a good looking knife that cuts a lot of different things well out of the box....this is a great option for cheap!

Loving this so far
Full disclosure: I have no experience with "professional"/fancy knives, but boy, does this one seem pretty damn high-quality, especially for the price. It fits nicely in the hand, gives lots of extra chopping power (especially for meat), but isn't TOO clunky; I use this mostly for vegetables, and basic meal prep. It cleans nicely, is good and sharp, and has been nothing but a delight thus far.I cook about 3-4x a week, so the only ""problem"" I foresee is maybe needing to sharpen it relatively soon. (it feels like it may be dulling slightly? after about 1mo of use) But obviously that is a given with knives, especially when well-used.
