These are really solid cables, especially for the price, I included 2 photos, one with these new stainless cables compared to the crummy old carbon steel cable I replaced. I also show the cable end in my Campagnolo shift lever on my legacy Tom Ritchey framed road bike. The cables are very smooth, supple and have a nice feel and at less than $7 for 10 cables, they are almost free.As usual, the one star reviews were entertaining and for the most part, total nonsense. These cables are nearly 7 feet long and one reviewer complained they were "too short". What are using these for - a bicycle built for three? Another complained of "fraying" - never held more supple cables and I've been pulling wrenches on bikes since the 1970's. I suspect they used a crummy cable cutter - use a Park and only a Park cable cutter.All levity aside, I'll see how these cables perform over time but for now, no issues. Hope that helps.

I recently snapped my shifter cable somehow and I needed one ASAP. I found this one on amazon for an amazing price and so I just had to get it. Shipping was super quick and I had this thing installed in less than 5 minutes. This is probably the best shifter cable I could have gotten.

Installation went smooth and all included parts fit well. I installed new shifters on my mountain bike, first ride and the ball end of one of the cables broke, good thing they come in a 10 pack. Hopefully the rest are stronger.

I have replaced my gear cables with these and so far so good. They come with nipples and the end covers as well. Make sure you invest in a good cable cutter.

Typical cables no surprises. Some cables I bought have small barrel ends that were tricky to set in the brake levers.

I hope they last me a while without braking.
