Seems genuine
Lots of fakes and knock offs floating around Amazon’s inventory. Looks and feels like I got a genuine one.

Interior Printing Issues - Not Like Other Leuchtturm 1917s
I've had three other Leuchtturm 1917 dotted journals (and loved them), so I was surprised that this one wasn't exactly the same. It cost more than the others because of the premium shiny gold finish (which is wearing off a little, but no more than my other journals) - but the interior feels lower quality than the others I've had with plain solid colored covers.First, almost everything about the printing is different: the "please return to" page, the index / menu pages, the page number font size are all different from my other three journals. It's not terrible, but it was surprising. I did a side-by-side comparison and it's definitely very different. The worst part, though, is that the dots in this journal are way off. They start too close to the edges of the page, which changes the number of dots / grids on each page and just looks sloppy. Also, that means that the perforated pages toward the back are off, so that if you tear them out, it cuts off the first dot (and half a square). I've gotten over the page printing differences, but it just looks cheap and misaligned. I honestly don't know if this is an older (or newer?) style, a misprint, or a knock-off brand, but the interior printing is 100% different from all my other Leuchtturm 1917 journals. (The page thickness and paper quality feels about the same, though, as do the cover, bookmarks, and back pocket.)It does come with the official branded labels and the Leuchtturm 1917 is printed on the inside, but it feels like this is a generic or misprinted interior with a premium cover. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a bad run being sold as "premium" - but I don't have another metallic 1917 to compare it to, so I don't know.

Great product. One of my favorite notebooks
Terrific quality and beautifully made. Great thing and can’t recommend enough. Great for bullet journaling also.

Pretty color but possible quality control issues
Pros:+ The color is very pretty.+ No difference in ghosting between this and the normal non-metallic Leuchtturm1917sCons:- First index page starts on the left page instead of the right, and the design seems far less elegant than the non-metallic journals. Instead of a centered outlined box, it's just lines.- Every few pages, there's a bit of glue at the base where the page meets the spine, making the page not open quite as much as the other pages. You can apply gentle force to separate it, but it does pull at the paper.- The font is san serif, whereas non-metallic journals are all serif. I like the serif look more, as it gives a bit of an elegant flair.- The biggest flaw in my opinion, is the page layout has been completely messed up. The outer margins minus the bottom have dots pushed to the edge, and the bottom has a large gap making it very asymmetrical and cheap to look at. I have included a picture. I also looked around online for reviews from others and spotted the same issue, making me think it was either a design choice or the whole batch was flawed.I loved my old Leuchtturm1917, and was eagerly awaiting my beautiful copper colored one to start off the new year, but this is going back.

Good, but different
I really like this. It's beautiful and sturdy and has the nice table of contents and everything you'd expect of a Leuchtturm 1917. However, I've had two previously, and this one seems a bit different. The fonts don't seem as nice or elegant if that makes sense and the table of contents isn't set off by some blank pages like it is in my others. The pages are also a bit lighter, but it's the same size and has the same number of dots per page as my others. I don't know if Leuchtturm just changed their design on me or if this is a dupe, but it'll certainly get the job done, so I'm overall pleased with it.

98% perfection
Bought this as my first "real" bullet journal after hours of research and comparisons and I love it! I was worried about darker pens 'ghosting' but it really hasn't been an issue. The paper feels nice and the dots are quite faint but still easy to guide by. I only took off one star because every 7th page or so the pages are glued together a bit at the spine/crease just enough to make a 2 page spread wonky or even impossible. I don't know if it's just this particular journal or a common issue with Leuchtturm1917. It's a minor enough annoyance that the benefits far outweigh so I'll be ordering this again and see.

High Quality, Comfortable Size, Preprinted Index and Dotted Pages Really Helpful
I really like the look, feel and overall size. I now carry this everywhere, and it drops into my bag easily. I added the elastic pen holder to the last page and it works perfectly holding a medium to small barrel pen or pencil. It's been very durable so far. (I'm 133 pages in.) The pen holder is not removable/transferable to my next book, but the convenience and low cost makes it so I'm ok with buying one for each journal as I need it. (PS: The 1971 numbers seen on the cover in the Ad are not actually printed on the journal cover. It's just a marketing wrap that is removed before use. The cover is clean and blank. See photo) The reviews were definitely correct. A top choice.

Shipped with no box
I was honestly shocked when I got this in the mail today. It was shipped with no box. As a result, the journal was dented and scuffed during transit. A bubble mailer would have likely prevented all of this. The plastic wrapping all of these journals come in are very thin and not meant to be protective in any way. I love these journals- they're a fantastic notebook and I absolutely recommend them, but I do not recommend this seller. It's super disappointing too, as this journal is limited edition and no longer being made.

Fantastic notebook, amazing colour
I'm a repeat buyer of Leuchtturm, due to their amazing quality. This notebook is no exception - other than the finish makes it look so fantastic. I ummed and ahhed about wether I needed it, but I'm so happy I did. It's a lovely unique colour, with all the benefits of a standard Leuchtturm. I love the contrast of the page dividers, and even the archiving stickers have a copper metallic finish. I've tried to show this in the pictures attached but photos really don't do this notebook justice! Delivery was quick, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Not worth the money
So I bought this planner because I wanted gold colour notebook for my fitness journal. But we are barely 2 months in and there are pretty visible marks on the cover already (and I keep it on my desk at all times). The elastic band holds the journal but it’s not so strong ...The pages basically see- through...on one hand this helps with copying my weekly pages but on the other hand it’s quite distractingDefinitely not gonna purchase again

Shame about the redesign
I am a long-term user of LT1917 notebooks and would always choose them over any other. However for some reason they have redesigned the layout of this notebook (and despite being told it was only the limited edition books, it seems all the notebooks have gone through this change) and maybe it only bothers me because I have problems with change, but the dots are now almost at the edge of the page instead of having a gap, and there is a bigger blank space at the bottom of the page too. They have also changed the index pages. That being said, the paper quality is still good and overall it's a nice notebook.

Pretty pretty colour!
It's so pretty!!! Bought this as a bullet journal, the colour is gorgeous and just the right amount of reflective/metallic, and I've been using a bronze/copper-coloured marker for titling etc. The same brilliant standard from Leuchtturm as always (this is my 4th purchase from them so far)

Disappointed
Honestly, I was disappointed. It doesn’t tick my notebook boxes. In love with another. Wouldn’t buy again. Cover is too clunky.
