Asano Japanese Ninja Claw Rake and Cultivator　(coated handle)

I'll be honest, I mostly bought this rake because of its cool. I turn my soil with a Ninja Claw Rake! :)

Have just tried it and it certainly does the job very well. As with all gardening tools the test is how long they last. It seems very well made.

This tool is no good for around compact gardens it is very uncomfortable to use

Haven't used it yet, but it's a sturdy tool and well finished. It's made by the Asano Mokkousho Company who make garden tools in Tsubame-Sanjo, an area with factories and workshops which was famous for metalworking in the Edo period, near Tokyo. This one has a very nice cherrywood handle. There were some sharp edges where the tines have been cut to the points on the ends, but they were easily filed away to make the tool more "hand friendly". I can now plant parsley four times faster than Captain Hook.
