Minimal feathering if at all. A dark and distinctive brown. Works well with my TWSBI eco and Kawecko pens.

Though I do not think it's perfect brown but a cherry brown colour.but this is a well behaved fountain pen ink, works well with any pen gives amazing flow. Good vibrant color.Don't expect water proof ink if you want to have a better or best written experience in a fountain pen.

Encre fabriquée en France, l'emballage et le flacon sont beaux, de style classique. J'utilise un petit piston sur un stylo plume pour aspirer l'encre. Avec une plume fine, le rendu est très beau. Pas encore essayée avec un porte plume mais semble Idéale pour la calligraphie, comme pour le dessin. (le bouchon de mon flacon est arrivé fendu suite au transport, c'est peut être le seul point faible)

Very nice colour, slightly more red than the Parker brown. Very distinctive. It is not as severe as black, less informal than royal blue, not so boring as blue-black . . . However it does tend to dry in the nib after a couple of days even with the lid of my Parker Sonnet on. After putting the nib under a drop of water on the tap to restart it the first couple of lines come out very dark until the lighter red-brown flows. I like the faceted inkpot which you stand on its side (it is very stable) when half of the ink has been used. Looks very impressive and traditional on cream or ivory paper.

This is the most affordable great flowing, quick drying, good shading, no nonsense good looking BROWN ink. It's out of stock now, and I hope Amazon AU will stock this back from waterman at affordable price as it is a regular staple ink for daily journalling. It's water based fountain pen ink, it flows and cleans lovely with ease on my pilot fine fountain pens with built-in filling mechanism. Highly recommended! Absolute Brown, an absolute delight on off white or ivory colour paper!
