Garage Door Eye Bolts 5/16 x 18 x 3 3/4 for Extension Spring ZP (Qty 2)

Do not make the mistake I made and try to use an L hook bolt to anchor your garage door spring - it was a disaster as the hook on the L bolt is not hooked enough. After repairing all the damage I caused (would have been worse if I didn't have the safety cable installed) once I received this bolt, install took 10 minutes, the cables and pulleys lined up perfectly, and raised and lowered my garage effortlessly. Spend the extra money, get these hooks, and do it right the first time!

I needed to replace my eye bolts and these came quickly, were exactly as described. Some folks have said theirs didn’t come with nuts, but mine did.

One of the hook screws for my garage door snapped. Found this one on Amazon. This one was just a little longer than the old one but it was perfect. I replaced both and should be good to go for a while

These are not as thick as the ones that came on my garage door. Also, I wish they came with matching nuts so I did not have to go to the hardware store looking for matching nuts.

Good replacement for garage door spring hook

These are exactly what I needed to replace the damaged bolts anchoring my garage door springs. I wasn’t able to find them at any of my local hardware stores. My only complaint is the listing said they would include 4 nuts (2 per bolt) and mine did not. Not a big deal but the product description should probably be updated.
