Good cleat but could have some improvement
I used it when I was at Big Bear last winter for hiking with kiddos. it has good grip but it always slides off although I tighten it. It put a wood between my shoes to have grip but still didn't stay. I don't know how to make it stay but at least it worked and helped me to walk on slippery ice and snow.

No slipping on ice
If you wear a men’s size 15 shoe there are precious few options. This is adequate. It goes over the footwear but doesn’t anchor at toe & heel so seems less secure. But those don’t come in size 15 and this fits

Haven't used kn ice, but fits around 13w boots

traction cleats
These anti skid traction cleats work okay, when they work. I wear these for a different reason than they are intended to be used. I had Achilles Tendon surgery and I have to use a knee cane - the Iwalk 2.0. I bought these in a much smaller size than my shoe size and I wear both of them on the bottom of the knee cane. They work fine if I cane pull the velcro tight enough. If I can't, they slide off easily and I am stuck because I can not put them back on when I'm out in the ice and snow. If you are using them as intended, I would recommend spending the extra money on the Wirezall cleats, they provide much better traction and they stay on securely. I wear those on my other foot over tennis shoe. The FANBX Traction Cleats are fine for short distances in snow, but I would not recommend them if you have to walk in a great deal of ice.

Worn 3 Times, Walked Out of 3 Times...
OK...The metal spikes are STURDY and really dig into the ice and snow. The major problem is the attachment style of these cleats. Even if you strap them down to the point of crushing your foot inside of your boot, they manage to loosen and you wind up walking out of them without noticing. I've tried this with a pair of soft topped "fur lined ankle boots", a pair of hard rubber toed traditional mid-knee snow boots, and a pair of generic low top hiking shoes. I've walked around my driveway and wore them while shoveling/clearing the driveway of snow. Each time I had to wind up scanning around to see where the cleat managed to fall off at. I tried them again, strapping them down as tight as possible and making sure they "stuck" properly while going to the Zoo. In the time it took to get out of my car, and walk across the parking lot I had lost one cleat. I doubled back and found that it made it a good 6 yards before abandoning ship. Not trudging through snow drifts or anything, just a few inches of snow mush in a flat parking lot.I really wanted these to work. It's so inconvenient to take off traditional style cleats and then have to keep them in a pocket while you go indoors. But these? These aren't it either, fam.

Just a great product for those of us who get ice a week per year
I'm a Texan and with this regular icing over once a year, this is an amazing product. We don't get ice for long enough periods to justify snow boots, but we still to get ice. Personally I live in a 2nd floor apartment and the stairs icing over has been a bit of a careful and dangerous issue to get down from. Then these came in the mail and oh. My. Goodness. Now *I* own the ice, not the other way around. There's even a satisfying crunch feel and sound as the steel teeth bite into the ice. I especially love how you can pop them on and off in seconds so you don't damage your car, home, etc. but then right back on just as quick when you need to head out! This is also good because many stores won't let you in with spiked snow boots on, but with these, no problem!Downside is the placement does feel a little awkward since your toes won't be able to touch down and put your feet in a slightly awkward position. These aren't meant for all day use, more for getting to/from your vehicle and traversing slippery parking lots. But for that they're absolutely perfect!!10/10

Not for large boots
Brought the two pack. The velcro strap wasn't long enough for a work boot; 12. The plastic broke trying to draw it tight. Gave the other pair to my daughter, it works for her

Perfect!
These are sturdy and well made. Easy on and off and they fit any size really. I was concerned about not having spikes on the heel might not work as well but it wasnt a problem. They worked just as good as the pair I have with spikes all over the sole. I've given these as gifts to friends during ice storms.

They work
I like that this product can be used on a variety of footwear and you don't have to buy expensive boots with built in traction or huge traction bottoms. Easily store in their little bag in car door for convenience. Though they do rust, if you lay them out on a shop towel to dry they do last at least 2 seasons. Would buy again.

break very easily
I bought these in good faith but the rubber is weak and broke the first time I put them on work boots for a dry fit. Also, the straps are very short and barely hung on when I installed the cleats on my work boots.

CRAMPONS ARE A MUST IN CANADA
Have been looking for a good pair of crampons for city sidewalks. Montreal has very cold, icy, streets and sidewalks and I am sure these will do the trick—and I won’t have to worry about falling and breaking a leg or hip

Apply mid foot.
These crampons really do grip well and are easy to attach. Mine slipped off till I positioned them closer to the heel, and tightened. Just make adjustments till you are satisfied.
