glad we're able to get a vibrating collor over an electric shock one. Our dog is a little on the nervous side, so the beeping alone does the trick.

The anti bark collar works for low signaling depending on how the animal feels it. My dog just receives it as a warning that his barking is annoying and stops for the moment.

Better than expected until it stopped charging
Update: shortly after I wrote the review below, the collar stopped holding any charge whatsoever. I left it charging all afternoon and overnight, and it just blinked red and turned off after I tried to put it on our dog. So it lasted about 2 months.This actually works on my chihuahua better than expected. The vibration is enough that he doesn’t like it, but doesn’t hurt him. My only complaint is that it seems to have to be on pretty tight to work well, otherwise it doesn’t go off when he barks. Also, and this is probably just my dog being a big turd, but he will have to wear it forever and always to get him to stop barking. He doesn’t learn and if he’s not wearing it, he barks constantly. Sometimes when wearing it he still barks, but it’s typically not as loud and not as much because knows what’s coming. Overall I’m happy with the purchase and surprised it worked on my little yapper at all!

Small is TOO big for my 5 lb puppy
Like another reviewer mentioned, the strap is too long for my puppy. I don't understand why a collar meant for a "small" dog, doesn't fit a small dog. At this point, I'm hoping he'll grow a little so I don't have to return it. It IS nice that the battery is rechargeable whereas I didn't see that as an option for the other companies. Because it's loose on my dog, the machine going off is hit or miss. Whenever it beeps, it stops him from whining because he's trying to figure out where the sound is coming from. At this point, I'm trying to figure out how to add something to the strap to keep it in position on his neck. I think this device has potential IF it fit properly

Works very well for small dogs, humane.
I used this on my Snorkie (Mini Schnauzer/Yorkie mix), who tends to be very vocal. This collar (though difficult to size - it is waaaay bigger than it needs to be) beeps and vibrates when she barks, which distracts her. It only took a few days of wearing it to break her of the barking habit (though she tends to forget and we need to put it on her again). I highly recommend this if you have a little yapper.

It’s only works sometimes
We got this for our 4 lb Pomeranian puppy. It does fit him which is great and it holds a charge for a while. It seemed to work well the first couple of days, but now it barely registers when he barks. It’s frustrating to spend money on something that only works sometimes, which isn’t enough to train him into not barking. From other reviews I’ve read it might depend on your dogs personality. When it does work, it seems to annoy our dog into just barking more

Effectiveness lessens over time
This humane bark collar is well priced, easy to use and compact. It worked like a charm on the first day for my reactive puppy. I was able to take her to crowded stores and other locations without her barking - it was such a relief. But the effectiveness started to wear off a few days in. I did not overuse it but even then, over time she would just ignore the effects of the collar as she got use to it. Especially if she was locked into barking. Now it only acts as a reminder for her not to bark, but it doesn't prevent her from barking anymore.

Worked fine for the beginning only
It works!!!! We just use it for a few days and our Pomeranian already learnt not to bark excessively. I love the idea of alerting them with a beeping sound when they bark the first time. Then progressing to beeping to alert and vibrate. Our puppy doesn’t like the vibrate mode, so when he heard the first beeping sound after first bark, he stopped barking already.Edit: sorry have to change to 3 stars, our Pomeranian learnt and adapted to the sound and vibration. It’s not working for him anymore. He just keeps barking excessively…think have to try something else.

Bought 2 neither work
Purchased a second one because 1st didn't work and can't find it to return it. This is the second one and same thing. Will be returning if it doesn't work soon. Putting up to highest setting. Will post in a few days.
