Keson Box Beam Level, 48-Inch

Don’t order this from Amazon. Mine was sent in a very thing cardboard sleeve and had notched impact dents in it. Level is amazing though.

If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it.I bought this level in the 72" length. To check how sensitive it is, I set it on the floor, verified it was level, then slipped playing cards under one end until it registered off-level. It only took two playing cards to give an indication that was detectable by my eyes.No joke, this is a six-foot level that can sense a difference in height equal to two playing cards.

Wow, I'm not one to write a raving review without putting a product through its paces, but this level doesn't disappoint. I've been using an empire level with a clear fluid for a couple months and found myself constantly reaching for a light to back light the bubble. So the first thing I did when I got this level was to use it in dimmly lit areas around my house. Keson advertised a reflective coating to aid in low light but THIS THING STRAIGHT UP GLOWS IN THE DARK! Needless to say, between the mangified bubble, the contrasting stripes and the reflector this level is a treat to use. I did however think this was a USA built level but it was made in Austria just like Sola. I wouldn't be surprised if they were made at the same factory.

Love this level for the price! Don't feel the need to spend on a stabila? This is your man! It is professional build quality, and the Sola vials are incredibly to work with and, in my opinion, preferable to those of the German brand, touted to be the very best....

Seems like a good quality level, like the sola vials very easy to read. Reads the same as my stabila level, will have to review after a year of use . The only disappointment is with shipping: shipped in a huge box with no padding which caused a damage to a level, very noticeable ding, doesn’t seem to cause any significant damage to frame but still not good. Please, wrap it in a bubble wrap at least. Update after a 6 months of use or so: still like easy to read vials but plumb vials read differently when you flip level...unacceptable in my line of work( high end carpentry). Never had this problem with stabila.
