Great book!
Written in nice relaxed easy going way. Easy to do the practices and almost immediately feel the Qi. Fun to do too.

Another book on Qi/Chi/Ki
It was ok. Not one of the books that I would recommend as a must read. If your really interested in the subject, its another authors rendition.

what an entire disapointment
I find his website good and enjoyable, his book however, not so much. I would suggest looking elsewhere on books regarding internal energies. I would suggest looking more towards the Chi and the chinese internal arts like Qi Gong and Tai Chi. There are several books in amazon that go into the internal aspects of those arts much better than this. In fact, I would like a refund of time and money there was nothing here you cant find on the internet alone.

Disappointed!
When I found the author's site, I was curious to buy the book.Lots of messy explanations of chi, using Indian chakras and chinese energy meridians. The book may have some useful tips and exercises. But you can find all the informations on the web.I recommend Ki breathing by Tohei.Tohei was the former chief instuctor of Aikido at Honbu Dojo, for 15 years.Tohei received the 10th dan from Morihei Ueshiba.

More than breath, more than will
Life energy is something so common to us, so prosaic, that most of us don't even realize that it has its name and lot more behind. Time from time we meet it, lacking the energy to fulfill our daily tasks, so we go and rest a while. But we can do much more. Life energy, called qi or ki is not something, that only weird martial artist can work with. It flows through our bodies, regardless the veins and organs - it has its own paths, our places of gathering. It is a key thing of all eastern medicine and the concept of self healing, a door to stimulating our bodies and souls, something that simply anybody could work with to feel better, or more. After a short and rational explanation of what ki is, where it comes from and to where it flows, author shows easy-for-anybody exercises. To get it work you have to do one single thing - practice it. Not many books like that, really!
