Does the job well!
This arrived in a huge box (because of the handle), but I enjoyed free shipping with a $35+ order.I use it in the winter to push the chunks of snow that fall off our vehicles in the garage, and any water they leave when they melt. Its large size and heavy duty build make it perfect for this job. This spring, I hosed (power washed actually) down the garage floor, and any loose water was immediately pushed out of the garage. I did not remove all my small yard tools, quads, and mowers from along side of the garage walls, and had to pull that (as opposed to push), water away from them to a distance where I could get in and push--not ideally suited for the "pull" task because of the curved ends. Had to overlap my strokes, but it was a lot less effort than moving everything out of the garage. Dry sweeping (or using a leaf blower) made so much dust, that I have to wipe down anything left in the garage. The rubber squeegee end is very thick and takes care of all of the loose water in its path with one swipe.

VERY Sturdy and High Quality
Okay so I'm using this for a untraditional use.I have animals in the house and as you know fur goes EVERYWHERE even after vacuuming you can never seem to get it all.I vacuum, take a spray bottle of water and mist an area of carpet, then squeegee the carpet (light to medium force)You'd be amazed at how much cat hair comes up.Well this product has SIGNIFICANTLY helped with this effort. Long enough so you don't have to be hunched over and hurt my back, very sturdy and well put together so I can apply pressure without feeling as if I'm going to break it, the blade doesn't wiggle as you squeegee, and the rubber is thick and doesn't feel that flimsy.Long blade is a +++ as well I get done in half the time! For the price I definitely didn't expect such quality. I highly recommend this whether you're using it for carpet pet hair removal, a more typical use, or anything in between.

Awesome squeegee, worth the price: Just two minor annoyances
First the positive: it's a solid, well-made floor squeegee, and it's a complete 1-piece item which is surprisingly difficult to find anywhere. In addition to Amazon, I had looked in Walmart, Home Depot, Costco, Lowes and other stores and could not find a decent floor squeegee option. Most stores sold only the heads, without matching handles, and most of the heads were not versatile enough for large-scale use.At the end of the day, this was easily the best option I could find and while $30 feels like a bit much on the surface for a floor squeegee, it seems like it will provide $30 worth of utility and last for quite a while. For these reasons, you could argue that the squeegee deserves 5 stars. After all, if there's no better option, it should be 5 stars, right? But I just can't bring myself to say that it deserves a "perfect" rating. There are two annoyances with the squeegee for me, and one of them is significant enough that I think it warrants a 1-star reduction:1. The squeegee is very heavy and not very maneuverable. This is the byproduct of a wood-and-metal design, which is really industry standard. In other words, it's not fair to dock the product a star for what it is: but nonetheless, buyers should be advised that it will tire your arms if you have to use it for a long period of time, and the lack of maneuverability means that you will likely splash yourself repeatedly while not being able to dry the floor 100% without having a second, smaller squeegee available.2. The reason for docking it a star: for some reason, likely having to do with the curve of the rubber strip, you can only push water forward (i.e. you cannot pull it back). This is fine for open areas, but it means that you cannot get pools of water out from below items that are against a wall. For example: if you have a BBQ against your patio wall, you wouldn't be able to get the pools of water out from beneath it.Bottom line: I highly recommend this squeegee on the basis that there isn't really anything better available that I have found. However, if a newer/better design comes about, this squeegee would quickly be relegated to an also-ran.

used in a dairy barn
this squeegee is used in the milking parlor where the cows stand- there is not much solids to move at the end of milking, so this works perfectly- we used to scrape with the metal barn scraper, then follow with a squeegee. this omits one step for us. Our holding area is scraped by hand also- works well if mostly liquid and a little solid material- if alot of solids, then the metal barn scraper will work better. All in all, this is good if working with mostly liquid material-For the money spent, this has been a good deal for us.

Doesn't Work Well If You Pull Towards Yourself Rather Than Push
This seems really durable and seems well made, however, its really only good for pushing. If you want to pull anything towards you (such as water) it does not work well. I don't recommend it if you are going to use it for that purpose. I have a small area that gets wet occasionally and have a drain in the middle of the area. I pull the water towards the drain usually. This product is not good for that type of circumstance.
