Good product, easy to use
I just finished using this on my 2002 Saab 9-5 with 133,00 miles. I bought it with the hopes that everyone else has stated; clear up the headlights some, rather than spending over $350 EACH to replace the lenses, or paying $50 to have the car wash or Pep Boys do it.Mine were pretty cloudy, and now are not quite as good as new, but really much, much improved. I was a little concerned about the sanding step, and at first did not plan to do it. After the cleaning step, I saw it would be necessary to do the sanding, however. And, while I am very happy with the outcome, I probably could have been a little more aggressive with the sanding. There is still a little bit of oxidation on the plastic. I still have enough of the 3 liquids left to do the job again. So, if I get motivated down the line, I could do it again, but I would buy my own sandpaper. I think a little larger would be easier to work with. I watched the video (on Amazon's link) and read the instructions and all of the suggestions in the reviews on Amazon more than once to get it right. I am only going to write here my suggestions.1. I did not use the gloves except for the last step, the polishing.2. I used my own cloths rather than the little paper towels they enclosed.2. I numbered the bottles 1, 2, 3 with a Sharpie to be sure I got that right.3. It was pretty breezy when I was doing it, so I use a ceramic bowl for the water during the sanding step, rather than waiting for the wind to overturn the plastic container they.Like others, I remained skeptical until I got to the polishing step. It was not until then that I was sure this product was worth the time. It definitely is.

Better, but far from like-new
I followed the directions very carefully and spent a lot of time and elbow grease. Appearance of the headlights is better, but not "restored". Headlight lenses are still quite cloudy, I will look for another product to use to get the like-new appearance promised by this restoration kit.

Impressive results
This kit is a HUGE improvement over two other headlight restoration kits I have used in the past. Those kits contained the usual sandpaper and polish, and yielded only modest results. The difference with this kit is two additional components: pre-treatment and sealer. The pre-treatment all by itself yielded better results than either of the kits I had used before. Following the pre-treatment with sanding, polishing and sealing gave me headlights that seem nearly as bright as new.A few cautions, however. Doing the job well on my ten-year-old headlights required about twice as long as the instructions suggested. Eight courses of pre-treatment were required before the yellowing had mostly disappeared. I sanded with 1500 grit until the sanding residue was white, per the instructions (wiping the headlights with a white paper towel will make it easy to see whether you are getting sanding dust that is white or yellow), then sanded with 2000 grit until the lens seemed uniformly cloudy with fine sanding marks. Followed that with the liquid polish until the sanding marks had disappeared, which took several rounds of polishing, wiping, inspecting, polishing again. After the final polishing, I cleaned once more with the pre-treatment (again, per the instructions) before applying several coats of sealer. My headlights now look nearly new when the lights are off. With lights on, I can see flaws and stress marks in the lenses that had previously been obscured by the yellowing and surface scratches, but those appear to be internal and could not be removed by any amount of surface sanding and polishing. Light output has increased quite dramatically. I have to say that I am very pleased with the results, and recommend this product without hesitation.

I wound up taking to a detail shop and they used something with a buffer that did a good job. Cost more but got the results
Did not work as described. Too messy to try to return. Will go into yard sale items this spring. Did not restore the headlight cover as shown. I wound up taking to a detail shop and they used something with a buffer that did a good job. Cost more but got the results.

Simply the best!
I purchased this product last week and did the restoration today. Since my headlights are not that bad I didn't expect a huge improvement, but the headlights came out so perfectly! Clean, clear&shiny, my car looks even younger after the lights being restored.Couple of tips I want to share:1. Be sure to tape around your headlights before doing the work - don't follow my path, I got some minor scratches.2. Wear gloves provided in the package, since the chemicals are harsh.3. I felt like the sandpaper provided are not enough, even though my headlights were not that foggy, the sandpapers seem to lost their polishing capabilities...If you got some very foggy headlights, I recommend you have more sandpapers in your hand before work.4. Don't forget to apply 3 to 4 coats of UV protector! :)Be patient when you doing the work :) I spent almost three hours to restore both lights, and I was not patient enough cuz I got board after two hours. Why this product is the best? First, all you need is in the package, you don't need other stuff to finish your job; Secondly, the UV protector is better compare to other companies' product, it has a long-term UV protection (more than two years) for your headlights, others may only have several months of protection; Finally, the price is right, this product really worth the money!Check out other people's reviews, see how they love it! :)

Great product and results!
Great results from the process. Just plan on buying additional sandpaper. My lenses were in very rough shape, the kit didn’t have enough or rough enough grit sandpaper to do them. Ended up using 120grit and a r.o. Palm sander. It is necessary to remove all or most damage before resealing the lenses. Using water in a spray bottle for lubrication I sanded down to clean and damage free lense then progressively finer grit sandpaper until the finest grit provided in the kit. Then followed directions. Many months later and still looking great. I highly recommend the product. The instructions should address heavily damaged lenses.
