Zero issues
Worked right out of the box. No flickering or any artifacts on my display. Build is great and feels like it'll last a while. Got this because this is about the only one I can find that works for my setup and is quite affordable to boot. Cat-proof status unknown.

Perfect for the job!
Worked great for my Dell —> Mac laptop. Finally fixed my problem (which was assuming HDMI to USB-C would work for my dual screen… the answer is DisplayPort 100%)

Avoid like the plague, it will haunt your nightmares
I have purchased multiple of these, and recommended them to others, and unfortunately all of them have decided to fail on me after 1 to 3 months. When I say fail, I mean I randomly see corrupted sections of my screen appear, which is tolerable but annoying at best. What really sucks is sometimes the picture will drop completely, and the only way to recover the signal is to unplug the USB-C side and plug it back in. If you get up to the top of it's capabilities, say 4k 240hz, you're going to get to experience the worst of the worst. I haven't even been able to get a picture out of one of the cables at that resolution, and the best cable still causes corruption to show up every now and then and still disconnects, just more rarely than the others.

Okay
I have the cable plugged into a docking station, and my only complaint is that when I plug the computer into the dock, the monitor doesn’t work. I always need to unplug the cable from the dock, and plug it back in to make it work.If you aren’t using a dock, it will probably work just fine for you. And to be honest, it works fine for me outside of that minor issue. Unplugging and replugging is a minor issue, but it does defeat the whole point of having a dock.Otherwise it works just fine. For the price, it’s worth it.

Forget both USB-C and HDMI video connections
I recently watched a video where the reviewer explained the benefits of using a Display Port (DP) cable rather than USB-C or HDMI. It provides the fastest refresh rate that your computer can handle. I do want to get the Mac Studio display and set up with the newest version of the Display Port technology. Apparently it’s more than double the capabilities of this version of DisplayPort technology.
