PROS:* Lightweight. This thing feels lighter than I think it appears.* Sturdy. This unit also feels sturdy well suited to the task.* Spacious. A key differentiator between lap desks. This unit allows me to use my laptops alongside my mice with ease.* Comfortable. The bean bag-like lap rest/cushioning is a nice touch. You can adjust according to your preferences and the unit is comfortable to have on your lap for hours.* Bamboo. For me, this was an aesthetic touch and it coordinates with some of the various wood trim and accents we have running throughout the house. It stands out and fits in. It looks nice.CONS:* I really can't think of any "cons." I also don't have suggestions on how to make it better.USE:We have owned one for a few years. We bought it so that (one of us) could use our laptops in the living room or on the bed as needed. But it was an occasional thing, at best. With coronavirus in full swing and remote work 100% for me, the last thing I wanted to do was to play games in my office after a day's work. Since I couldn't upgrade the GPU on my desktop, we ordered some new laptops that would hold us over a few years. We purchased this SECOND lap desk because the first one worked so well. We now use these to have game nights in the living room sitting together nearly side by side. We can pretty much play games anywhere.I highly recommend this lap desk.

Those bad reviews have me scratching my head in disbelief, this is a quality product. I’m a truck driver and use a lap desk to do logs, write notes, and eat my lunch on. I have a plastic one that seemed really good, but just having it in a truck all the time however hard I try to take care of it, has it all broken up. I would compare this to a good solid cutting board, but not too thick and heavy. It’s just right. And it’s nice and large, with a good quality removable pad underneath. I advise caution removing the glue spot that holds the label on, I tried to scrub it off with a scotch green pad and water and it just smeared. If you get a flawed one exchange or return it. Mine is great, a product of a lifetime potential quality

The lap desk is the perfect size to sit my 17" Lenovo Legion laptop on and still have a little bit of room for the mouse. It also seems to keep the laptop just as cool or cooler than using a 2 fan laptop pad. The laptop also sits on it without sliding. The bamboo wood is very solid and does not flex at all. The width is also perfect because it fits nicely between the arms of my leather recliner. I had a small issue with the first item but their customer service was beyond excellent and took care of my concerns immediately. A definite must have for using a laptop in your lap. Finally, the cushion underneath is very comfortable and shapes itself to the contours of your legs. No regrets!

It is a great size. Light weight and its design is comfortable to use in my recliner. BUT the edges were not smooth. There were nicks on the edge and I had to sand it a little to make it smooth enough. Just a bit of quality control and it could have been perfect. I noticed others said the edges were rough so be prepared, it looks like this company is not going to take care of the particular defect. Mine wasn’t real bad so I just dealt with it.

This is quality and really pretty. i like the larger size.. i can write or type on computer. it sits comfortably on my lap. very sturdy but no too heavy. pillow is not too thick and is removable. the handle makes it portable. . it stores easily but i keep it right on my sofa. Does not stop you from falling asleep while trying to work from couch...

The seller stated they improved their product and they lived up to their word. I leave my lap desk out at all times and everyone compliments on it and state they are going to order one. I am pleased. The negative comments and pictures above may be before they improved the board. The pictures on this site currently are accurate to the Bamboo Laptop desk and the best laptop desk I've used. Plus, there is a hidden pocket with a zipper for earbuds, phone, or snacks. The quality is great and I'm not embarrassed to leave it out at all times. It is great for me and I don't think you will be disappointed in any way. Kudos to the design, quality, and craftsmanship!

This is a great lapdesk. Big enough to support a book and a legal pad, sturdy enough to withstand most normal use and light abuse (like dropping it on the floor). No cellphone or tablet slots to take up space I'd rather use for my own stuff (phone is perfectly happy on the floor, and so am I with it there). And the bamboo top is thick enough that you could add a piece of wood across the bottom if you wanted a book stop.

I'm a university student, so I spend a lot of time writing or working on my laptop. I don't like spending so much time hunched over a desk, so I wanted a surface I could use while reclined on a couch or wherever. This was the best design I could find to fit my needs, and I'm totally satisfied with it. Lightweight, low profile, not over-encumbered with useless "features".The only thing I've noticed is that the bamboo is sensitive to temperature change and probably humidity as well. It cracked in the winter, but I messaged the seller and they replaced it for free. Actually, the seller reached out to me first. The new one is flawless. I'll be careful about exposing it to harsh conditions, but I still think it's the best on the market for my needs.

Cushion is a bit small but nothing that cannot be rectified by supplementing with an larger cushion. The table itself is excellent. Smooth, strong and a great size. My 17" laptop fits fine with enough room to use my mouse.Highly recommend.

The lap table is lovely however it came with a few scratches. It was meant for a gift but this wasn’t possible as the product appears to be used. It was packaged well and no damage to the packaging so the scratches are likely to have occurred prior to shipping.
