Had it for a week hoping to catch the mice we have ,the mice have ate the food the trap hasn't even gone off ,it was cheap l know but now I'm going to have to purchase something better

I bought 3 of these as I seem to have a mouse nightclub in the loft space, I had bought the  Procter Pest-Stop Sure-set Plastic Mousetrap Twinpack  and had caught 5 in a few days (Unfortunately). Amazon had sold out of these plastic ones and 3rd party sellers where double the price, so I bought 3 of these.Looks like they are coming in through the Garage As I found a Small hole in the wall there, and plenty of droppings(great!) .Put two in the garage last night with peanut butter bait (as recommended on the box) came out to find the 2 traps empty and not sprung, I put a third one in the house not that theres any evidence of mice in the living space and found it had sprung but the bait was not touched! I had trouble setting one as it kept springing itself so I can only hope thats whats happened. Im going to return these and get more plastics I think! Not great trap in my experience

Works a treat, set it with cheese and put in my rockery over night, got one already!!

The trap fails to trigger when the bait is taken. Having purchased three traps it must be a design fault. Additionally when manually triggered the trap fell apart. All in all this is a poor, flimsy product. Presumably if I persevered, in time the mice will have eaten so much of the bait that their weight will trigger the trap.

this item should not be retailed not fit for use cheap but useless .1 trap fell to pieces on the first setting the second one is not much better they should be taken off the market  Pest-stop Easy Setting Metal Mousetrap (single)

These traps are the only ones I have found satisfactorily to trap the small mice and voles which invade the cottage from the adjoining field in cold weather.

The mechanism is the reverse of what I am used to, the mouse having to push down instead of lift the bait, I thought that this would mean a loss of bait as mice simply lifted it from the trap unharmed, however, all catches so far have been right across the middle, let's just say they didn't know what hit 'em! Great product
