these blades are a great replacement on my old craftsman jointer, very sharp and work great !!!!!

These blades are about 1/8” too long for the central machinery joiner. I had to use a file to remove some cast iron from inside the joiner to prevent the blades from hitting. Once that was done, they work great.

These are exact replacements for my 43 year old Craftsman 6” jointer/planer. They arrived sharp, and flat. No need to touch up. The old set was fine till I hit the nail. They last well through pine, walnut, and treated pine. If I ruin this set, Ill buy another identical item from the same supplier.

Fit well into a 1950's Craftsman. Sharp with a clean cut.

I bought these for a generic Taiwanese 6" jointer. They replaced a set of Freud blades, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. These are slightly taller than the Freud blades which means they can be sharpened more times before needing replacement. They were also dead flat which wasn't true of the Freud blades. I'm getting wispy shavings using these blades and the surface finish they leave is flawless. These are an absolute steal for the price.

I haven't used the jointer a lot since putting in these knives so I can't comment about their durability. But I can say they were incredibly sharp out of the package (I cut myself installing them) and the price was very good. Unless they dull quickly I will be buying these again.Btw, these fit my craftsman 103.23900 jointer.

Ordered for my husband's General jointer. He was a bit skeptical because these blades are less than half what a blade company was asking. Since General tools are no longer available, after market is all we can get. Blades arrived quickly, fit perfectly and we'll be ordering again. We highly recommend them.
